Could someone look up my VIN#. 1FTFW1ED7NFA62753.

I'm interested in how far I may be behind with OTAs and Priority Updates.

The latest OTA is 6.5.0

The latest Priority Update id 23-PU0110-RAD-PS

Thanks.

Wondering if I have any updates in FDRS.

1FTFW1ED0MFB66211
Nothing pending in FDRS.

Hi everyone! Could someone please check if I have some updates available in FDRS? Can’t update via OTA unfortunately, because it’s fully disabled here in UAE.

VIN is 1FMJU1MT7NEA13420
Just as I suspected, you are showing no pending update sin FDRS.

Recognize I've got a swing gate instead of a tailgate but Javier, if you wouldn't mind. Jesse helped me fix some VCX Nano mishaps a few weeks ago and now I'm in the EA program, so wondering if there's any movement in PTS.

No worries.....all are welcome here. I'm actually on the bronco6g forum and I've offered to help a few people out, but once I ask for the VIN, I get ignored. I guess my post count isn't high enough. Their loss.

Nothing pending OTA and no pending updates in FDRS either. Unless something new gets released for you guys, I would not expect an OTA's any time soon.

You're on the latest Sync and only showing the updates below in FDRS. You're almost fully up to date. Nothing to worry about, imo.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Hopefully Ford doesn't wait too long to push them out to me.

Could someone please take a look at mine. 2021 Powerboost, I've been waiting on bluecruise for years. Last summer I received an email from Ford that my bluecruise update was now available. I schedule an appointment with the dealer and they kept it for a couple days. At the end they said it should be working (they never test drove it to confirm). It didnt work. I took it to another dealer several months later and let them know of the issues. They took a look and told me that it had been updated and there was nothing they could do on their end to get it to work. They mentioned that this was an issue they'd seen a few times with 2021's. I'm at a loss where else to turn.

Yea, it's an issue. Your truck is past the old software that prevented trucks from getting updates. You may be missing some updates, or maybe something easier. Give me a bit.

Edit: Yea, you're missing updates to certain modules needed for BC to work. IPC for sure and maybe more. The dealership would need to open a case with Ford engineers to get it properly updated. Or, you can invest in the tools needed to do it yourself and we can guide you through the process.

Anything specific I can pass along to the dealer to get them to initiate a case with Ford engineers? I’ve engaged with Ford support, opened a case file for it, referenced that case with the dealer and had Ford speak directly with the dealer. But so far it’s resulted in finger pointing and no one wanting to get it fixed (other than me).

What am I looking at if I have to do it myself?

I know you're new here and all of this may seem new and perhaps over-the-top to you. However, there is no short answer to your question. Your issue is one we are very well aware of and we can help you fix it. However, it requires putting your trust into several complete strangers from the internet.

To properly and fully update your truck (you are missing a ton of updates), you'll need a Mongoose cable, a 20amp battery power supply, a windows based laptop a 2-day license to use Ford's FDRS software. The Mongoose cable is the most expensive thing at $540. However, if you are in no rush, you can get on the list to borrow one of mine. No charge; just a deposit that I refund once I get it back. Details are below:

https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...mming-vehicle-interface-lending-thread.13145/

If you don't care about fully updating your truck and just want BC to work, it is possible that it will work with just installing the IPC update you are missing. If that is all you want to do, it can be done with FORScan and the software for that is free and the cable is only $35. You will still need a 20amp power supply as the update will take 6 hours to install. Also, it will require a well-known member on here to be allowed remote access to your laptop while connected to FORScan so that he can install the update for you. He does not charge anything to do this, but this requires above average knowledge of module programming and I can't just tell you how to do it. Not to mention, you would need the files needed for the update itself.

Whether you take the full-update route or the BC only fix route, it would require the help of the member I mentioned. The IPC update you need is not showing on Ford's server for you, so even with the expensive cable and Ford's software, you won't be able to get BC to work and neither will your dealer without the help of Ford engineers.

If you're interested in fixing the truck yourself, message me for more details.

Is this the same situation I’m in, being that I’m on the 21146 Rev 145?
I’m getting closer to pulling the trigger on the mongoose and windows tablet. My concern is will I be able to simply update using the FDRS write up instructions or is it beyond that and I’ll need more experienced help.

Kinda/sorta. Your truck is way more out of date than the one above. It is possible for you to fully update without having to manually side-load the IPC update.

Edit: If you need the help, we will help you as we have done with countless others.
