Can you turn off the IPC or dim it?

I searched but didn't see anything about it. I'm trying to find out if you can turn off the IPC like you can the center display. When sitting in a dark place it would be nice to be able to turn it off or dim it to the point it's barely lit. Thanks.

Well I'm sitting in a parking lot that's pitch black and I'd like to have the truck running to keep me warm AND not be blinded by it. Keep the good suggestion coming tho

I just picked up the truck a few days ago, and we're doing something out of the norm at work. Was just curious if it could be done. If it comes to that I'll just drop a rag over the ipc. Thanks for the suggestion

Awhile back I saw a YouTube video where the guy custom fit an insert to block the IPC. It needn't be a perfect fit because put a foam border around it. It worked well. Heck, the whole thing could be foam rubber. It's a good DIY solution.

Older generations this was dark mode or police mode to have engine running with all interior dash lights off. Do not think this is possible with the current generation trucks.

Forscsn has a way. But it's not easily toggled from dark to normal
The brains were working on it a while back

In my expedition I n used x ray film to cover up the horrible green headlights icon
But now in this truck. I sit different and they don't distract me

I miss the easy rol know on other trucks to OFF on interior lights

that has no effect on the IPC. it is lit up anytime the engine is running.
this topic comes up a lot and the only simple way people seem to overcome it is to stuff a towel or rag over it.

Cut out a piece of insulation foam in the shape of the IPC, glue a handle or put a string on it, and put it on and off whenever needed. That's what I do when running my truck in generator mode at a campground or when off the grid.

If you have the parking lights on it will dim down, once you turn lights off it’s not adjustable anymore.

Privacy film like that used on computers? We used it at my previous job. Stack em and it may at least reduce the glare.
