I’m not sure who you’re asking, but I have a 501A. I think all lariats have the same floor harness. There’s another member on here with a 510A lightning that doesn’t have factory heated rear seats and he added them. He also has the same floor harness that had the C pillar connectorWhat option lariat do you have, my 502a has heated rears.
Correct, only the lariat high does. I have added the rear heated seats to my lariat mid and I have helped walk another individual through doing the same, and and currently helping 2 others as well.Asking OP, I see the 501a has no rear heated, I was wrong in thinking all Lariats had heated rears.
I have an XLT.What trim? Mine didnt have it either.. I just had to make it
Then it wont be there. You will have to make it. Power runs to the BCM and the BCMB. The other wires are all the wires for the controls of the switches.I have an XLT.
I just ordered the entire rear heated seat “kit” from varsity Ford (only cost $370 plus shipping) but unfortunately they said MU2Z-14S411-SA (WPT-1687) is on national back order with no return to stock date. Are there any alternatives for this?
There isn’t a kit, I referred to it as a “kit” for the sake of brevity. You have to order all of the pieces individuallywhat is the part number for the heated seat kit?
Pronebeta, great job on installing everything. Do you have any tips on where and what the harness connects to in the center console? The easiest parts to install are the rear seat pads, rear harnesses, and heating modules.Currently working on heated rears on my 501a Lariat. Thanks Jesse and other for this post, could not have done this without you. My daughter is excited for this upgrade, and thats enough for me to push ahead.
Rewired center console, added factory switches. Tested heat pads and wiring before installing in seats.
