Removing it. Only because I'm relatively certain I had something wrong when I did the change to enable it. Just wasn't acting the way I think it was meant to. I'll be trying it again soonish.



But... reddit said..... Saw that last night. @Snakebitten nailed it in that thread saying that the one thing OTA has done reliably is create endless content. Some of which is very entertaining.

FWIW I did turn my lights off last night, but only because they kept blinding people walking down our sidewalks, the parking brake turned itself on when I parked for reasons known only to god and the truck itself, and I'm pretty sure the wifi was on but I couldn't be bothered to check. Did I do it right? I think I missed the part about signing a song or something.

1) Downloading no. Installing? Supposedly. I've never tested it out myself or know of anyone that has, but just keep it closed as per usual and it's a moot point. I can tell you the parking brake and having the headlights off means nothing as far as OTA installs go.

1). Installing….just wanted to confirm 6.8.0 installed for me with hood open while battery connected to charger. I received a notification the update failed to install at the scheduled time and it gave me the option to try again at the next scheduled time or install now. I hooked up the battery charger (with hood open) and selected install now which successfully installed for me.

Woke up after a couple hours sleep. Since it's 1:45 AM, I checked Ford Pass on my phone. 6.5.0 down loaded and installed with no problem.

Welp, my story is a little different. Before I left for work this morning, I checked SYNC; no update and no failed message. Is this one of those phantom updates many have mentioned? Little bummed, but oh well. It is what it is.

Anyone know what “improvements” were made to trailer and license plate lights??? They’re lights. Do they just make them brighter/dimmer then claim a glorious improvement?????
