For those interested here is some info on the onboard scale function.

The On Board Scale feature uses the VDM input information from the suspension height sensors. Based on this information the VDM calculates an estimated payload and sends information on the FD-CAN to the GWM then to the APIM on the HS-CAN for display. Also this information is sent to the BCM over the HS-CAN1 then to the Smart Tail Lamps (If equipped)

Here is the pinout for the "smart" tail lamps as well

Just another data point for the folks looking at adding scales. I have '23 Platinum with scales and CCD. The first picture below shows what I think is the "no scales" taillight connector. The other shows my truck's connector which is obviously different. I think the difference is because of the scales. The reason I'm into this is because I'm trying to find the reverse trigger on my connector. No luck so far.

The easiest place to pick up the reverse signal is the 7 pin trailer connector, it is the center pin on the trailer side, I can get you the pin out for the rear of the truck side if needed

I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Has any enabled the "eco coach" capability on a Tremor with Forscan. I had a 2022 XLT loaner that had the option to toggle the "eco coach" on. I found a thread where someone has done this on a Maverick but was wondering if anyone has tackled it for a Tremor, if it is possible.

I guess I’ll try to remember to check this weekend but is it not an option already in the settings? I know I have the eco behavior screen. Not to sound redundant by any means just want to make sure your comment about toggling it on is the same as my experience of enabling it in normal drive mode through the IPC settings menu
The option to enable eco mode in the my view is there, however in the XLT I drove you could toggle the eco coach on from the eco mode screen and it enabled the information on the speedometer and some other things I can't remember.

Ahh okay yes that’s what I was trying to explain. You’re not going to see the option in MyView

It is in the settings menu -> Eco Coach -> Visible in Normal (toggle)

Yes I have that option, but it doesn’t do anything. I have toggled it on and off, switched to eco drive mode and nothing. I don’t see the indicator on the speedometer doing the coaching. I did read someplace that only the power boost has this but why the option in the tremor IPC menu. That is what I am trying to find out.

The little green thing was on mine and I don't have a Powerboost. At least it was when I bought the truck I haven't looked recently because I don't use Eco mode.

Ok thanks. I do get the ramping on and off, just not seeing the other things you mentioned. When a car comes from the other direction, mine seem to just ramp back down rather than what you describe ??‍♂. Still awesome. Thank you.
So the latest IPMA updates seem to be generating some glitches / odd behavior with the glare free (at least for some). You may want to try this:

https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/glare-free-lights-acting-funny.21502/post-413487

This is possibly why you are not seeing what everyone is describing.

Note for all: even after the “fix” the initial high beam ON @ ~32 mph is no longer a ramp, it’s instant.

I’ve been searching for “Trail Turn Assist” for a very long time. Just found it on a Raptor Forum.
Here’s the modules they recommend I change:

APIM 7D0-02-01 xxx7 xxxx xxxx
ABS 760-03-01 xxx1

I got it to appear on the sync page, but when I go to activate it, it says:

“This setting isn’t available right now. Please try again later.”

Thoughts on this? Would love to get this to work for a number of reasons, but biggest being we’re in the middle of winter and turning around in 4h sucks.

What is it supposed to do?

Were you in one of the off-road drive modes when you tried to test it? I have it on my Tremor and it’s been awhile since I used it, but my recollection is you had to be in a 4WD off-road drive mode to activate it.

I programmed it last night, once the family went to sleep. I'll be seeing if it comes alive today on my drive to work. Fingers crosse because this will honestly be a game changer turning around in the snow, and especially on tight CO/Utah trails come summer.
