The 21 raptor and tremor just haven’t received the updates. 22 & 23 tremor has received the gateway and apim updates but no ipma

Ford doing ford stuff. Nothing wrong with the truck.

We can force the updates through various means if you want but that’s a game only certain people like me play because we can do whatever we need to do.

As always ... appreciate the insight Jesse.

Crazy Ford hasn't shown Raptor or Tremor love in a long time.

Do you know if the updated IPM resolves the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) DTC U023A:08 "Lost Communication With Image Processing Module A"?
I continually get that DTC, along with the same DTC occasionally on the Anti Lock Brake module.

If it does ... and you have some spare time in the near future ... I'd love to work with you and jam these updates in ;-)

Yes. ITs supposed to. Im not sure why the tremor isnt getting update since it officially has BlueCruise. Raptor doesn't so I guess Ford isnt pressing that.

We can figure it out if you want to. Not too big a deal

IPMA and PSCM showed up for my 2021 Job 1 Lariat today (in addition to the IPC and BCM). I'm still nervous about installing that BCM so I'm holding off on all of them until we have some resolution.

My thoughts exactly, I wonder if we could pull the fuse for the headlights and then do the BCM update? Or will this cause the update to fall.

Ford’s latest guidance on this issue is that there is a software incompatibility between the BCM and the LED control modules on 2022s. So, not sure pulling the fuse would avoid the issue. Ford hasn’t said that the incompatibility exists on any other model years. The SSM below is not in the 2021 database. Cold comfort I probably wouldn’t trust. And for 2022s, the only “fix” is to update the BCM and then replace the affected LED module(s).

SSM 52075 2022 F-150 - One Or Both Headlamps Inoperative After A Performing A Body Control Module (BCM) Update With Or Without DTCs B14E5:08 and/or B14E7:08
Some 2022 F-150 vehicles may exhibit an inoperative headlamp after a body control module (BCM) software update. There may also be BCM diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B14E5:08 and/or B14E7:08 present. This may be due to a software incompatibility between the headlamp light emitting diode (LED) control module and the BCM. If this condition occurs after a BCM software update, confirm the BCM is at the latest software level and replace the headlamp LED module on the affected headlamp. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 417-01.

I guess the question is.... Has anyone done or heard of a 21 truck having this BCM update done and the headlight module needing replacement?

I've been updating over the weekend but keep seeing the PCM update even thought I've updated it sucessfully about 5 times.

Also, I'm still on SYNC version 23159 rev 915 which I thought was odd. Am I missing something?

Any help would be much appreciated!

you’re fine doing the PCM that’s not an issue. It’s the BCM that has the headlight problem.

I haven’t. I’ve only heard about ‘22s like @astrand1 ’s having the issue. But that doesn’t mean anything. I haven’t heard of anyone even trying it on a ‘21 with quads.
