Thank you for looking this up! I bought this 2022 F-150 XLT exactly one year ago brand new and shortly after that I received the "Ford Power-Up 3.5.2" update and it said "This update will set you up for future ones to come" on the screen. I have not received another update in almost a year. I am connected to WiFi (with a strong signal), have auto updates set up, and have tried several protocols list on this forum. I never had the APIM replaced or screen swapped. Do you have any suggestions on how to move forward? I greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide.

Last OTA you were send failed back in February, but it was too long ago and the details are no longer there. LIst of pending modules is below, but something seems off with your truck. Did you ever have your APIM replaced or did you do a screen swap?

What is concerning to me is that your truck is not showing any APIM, GWM or TCU updates. I would need a pic of the entire "about sync" screen to have someone with more more knowledge than me have a look and see why you have none of the modules showing. 3.5.3 is the next update you are due in the sequence and that is an APIM update. The fact that you are not showing an APIM update available can be a red flag for a deeper rooted issue.

Based on your current Sync version and what I can see in your OTA history, your last update was 3.5.4. You are missing the 4.x.x and 6.x.x updates, so you are a bit behind.

Your truck is fine. It has a build date of 3 months ago, so it was built with most of the older software on it already. You are fully up to date, but whatever you are missing you will get eventually. Nothing to be concerned about.

Thank you for the look up. I guess ill wait and hope that carplay and the buggy-ness resolves itself. I dont think i can shell out 600$ right now ?. Is the list of updates i have super long? Sorry if thats a dumb question, im new here.

Crazy as it may sound try setting your sync settings to use dark mode all the time. Many reported sync being less glitchy by doing that in older versions. Can't hurt to try.

Looks like you just bought it rather recently. OTA 4.2.1.1 was sent to the truck a bunch of times between April and September and it failed every time until it went through in October. Seems like someone started the truck while the OTA trigger was active on 10/23 and it finally went through.

The truck is fine. You will hopefully get more updates sooner than later.

Crazy as it may sound try setting your sync settings to use dark mode all the time. Many reported sync being less glitchy by doing that in older versions. Can't hurt to try.

You know its funny you say that. I switched to dark theme and WOW it made it usable. Prior to that it was basically one click per five minutes of buffer to get any action. Can confirm it weirdly works

You are correct. Picked it up in November but it was built in February. So the last update must of been while at the dealer. Hopefully I get a successful update soon.
