I have an XLT and with help of several people on this forum added the lighted cupholder and ambient lighting to front inside footwells. Ie same as lariats (cupholder is from 2021 lariat).
Oh I see. I have that standard in mine so wondered if I could mess with it lol. I can’t believe the ambient light colour can’t be changed. Fail

It honestly seems kinda silly seeing as the controls are literally directly below the buttons on the screen lol. I like the way it is now so changing screens is accessible. My opinion of course.

i made a post about this a long time ago when the unreal theme became a thing.
i thought it cluttered up the screen a little. does it look a bit more upscale? sure...maybe...but its counterintuitive since the physically buttons are directly below the screen. some functions actually require more hands on than just using the buttons anway. instead of reverting back, i thought i'd give it some time and maybe i'd get used to it. honestly, seeing this post has me wanting to go back again b/c i never did. figured it was too much work haha

I thought it sucked tbh. Took way more presses to get anywhere than the original. Needs work imo

Imagine for a second you were a complete cucumber and loaded the Unreal Sync Theme along with climate, seats, steering wheel etc without first doing a back up so you could restore to the factory settings. Also imagine said Unreal is all backwards (home on right, small panel on left of screen rather than right, text in navigation all jumbled (after many restarts). I’ll add that when I first loaded Unreal, the orientation was correct. Also the jumbling in Nav didn’t start until I made changes to APIM 7D0-02-01 to allow text input while in motion. How would one remove these changes without the original values? I can’t find them in the text version of FORScan (the not As Built section) and was far too stupid to write it down. I know…you don’t have to say it. I’m a putz.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

what did you DO ??? that is weird like a flipped rear view
you can go back to the ford site and look at your as built files, depending on how long ago you did the change, the as builds probably reflect the as it left the factory settings
its a slow weird process on how as builts change at the mother ship

@powerboatr He got it resolved. Half the issue is using a country code in the middle of Africa that has left hand drive and the other half is not reading rule #1 of Forscan.

I would rather do unreal theme then go out and hunt for a climate control trim panel that has the physical heated steering wheel button but yes i understand you.

You’re right. I take for granted that mine is right there. I see the need for some. I didn’t think of it in that regard.
