Currently own a 2023 PB XLT with 360/BLIS/manual/regular mirrors and want to upgrade to the 360/BLIS/Power Fold Tow Mirror.

1) Would this swap work with the Boosted Grey Goose harness?
2) Do I need to purchase a new control module or can I use the existing one?
3) How would I wire the power extend? Or would I be able to manual extend even though it is power extend?

After 3 months finally got my mirrors on Friday and just installed them. I'm lame at this stuff so it took me several hours and many scrapes on my arms to physically get the new wiring harnesses, etc installed. Some tips I learned for others:
* I have a 2022 XLT 302A
* Do the passenger door first. Fewer wires on your first door is easier to deal with.
* When swapping the mirrors (I did this first before the harness swap), leave the window down.
* When you go to take off the door panels this video was a big help for me Leave the window down when you first take off the panel, but before you disconnect wires put it back up. It's much easier to work your hands in the door area when the window is up.
* Once the door panel is separated, there is a little lock/latch you can pull to release, see attached photo with the yellow cable.
* When pulling the wires through the door I loosened the bottom bolt in the other photo and the space created from that made things easier.

In forscan I had to change the following to get the mirrors working and autofolding when I lock the vehicle:
* DDM/PDM change "Mirror Power Fold" to "Ford Auto Fold"
* DDM/PDM change "Telescopic Mirrors" to "Enabled"
* APIM "Mirrors Autofold" = "Enabled"
* APIM "Powerfold Mirrors" = "Enabled"
Then after restarting the truck in the on screen vehicle settings go to mirrors and set Autofold to on

The only issue I'm having after all this is my power door lock buttons on both doors no longer work. The remote will lock/unlock and I can press the physical button to lock, but the electronic unlock/lock don't work. Does anyone have any guesses on this issue? The cables are snapped in, I double checked both doors.

That would be great. Thank you.
Silver Bullet, try this. If it doesn't work for you, I'll send over my factory as built.

On my drivers side I have no up/down adjustment. All other functions, including turns and puddle lights work. I’m getting a blind spot fault message. I have not programmed them in forscan yet but I thought that was just to enable the power fold / auto power fold. Is there a calibration procedure for the BLIS? Is the up/down function indicative of a faulty switch or mirror? Thanks.

I really want to do this mod to my 2022 XLT 302a. Besides the cost of the mirrors themselves (I want tow mirrors), what am I looking at cost wise for everything else? Boosted Grey Goose website is not active so I’m not sure what the cost for that harness is. Any help from those who have already done this project would be greatly appreciated. I want to see if it makes sense for me financially. Thanks!

$150 if you want to buy a platinum's door harness, swap it in-place of your door harness, then take apart the factory door harness and use the wires to fill in what's missing on the passenger side.

Do you happen to know the part number for that platinum harness?

Sorry for all the questions, but you seem to be pretty knowledgeable on this upgrade. I found a set of used Lariat tow mirrors but they don't include the bezel that includes the power extend button. Do you happen to know the part number for that bezel? I found a lariat vin that had tow mirrors from the factory and came up with this part #: ML3Z14528DA. Do you know if that is correct? It's all a bit confusing.

If you are referring to the plastic frame with space for the buttons to be put in place, that comes as part of the tow mirror package. The full featured tow mirrors I bought had this piece bent when I received it and had to ship back the huge box with the mirrors and this piece since it can't be bought/ordered separately. No idea who thought it was a good idea to place this fragile plastic piece on the outside of the packing foam....

okay. so you can't actually buy that plastic frame and/or telescoping button on its own? if so, then that makes those mirrors useless for my application.
