Give it a shot and see what happens v. GPS. The factory speedo is typically conservative by 1 mph indicated to mitigate claims of "my speedo is wrong and I got a ticket". Just about every vehicle I've owned indicates ever-so-slightly faster speed. Confirm it's recording mileage properly by driving a calculated route via mapping software.
Yup, I had my 34"s calibrated better than the OEM calibration with factory tires.

@Nickelwork87 the -- at the end of the numbers are a checksum. They change automatically so you do not have to worry about them. Since they change when you change any value before them its pointless to put a value there.

The * is the line item that you would be changing.

Example where you would change the 2nd digit 740-01-01 x*xx-xxxx-xx--

Hopefully and easy question here, how do I turn the DRL brightness down to say 60%? I have turned them to 100% by editing the BCM 726-42-01 to the x2x2 value but don't understand the hex key coding for 726-38-01 for the DRL brightness percentage.

@Ranger96 So you made it 100% by enabling those settings right? Now you want them to be dimmer? If so, you need to revert the changes you made. Once reverted you can use these values below.

DRL_Ckt_FixedDim_DutyCycle_Cfg
726-38-01 xxxx 3Cxx xx--

64 =100%
5A = 90%
4B =75%
3C= 60%
32 = 50%
19 = 25%
0A =10%

That was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! Made the changes today and set them to 60%

I tested most presets and I settled on 60 as well, here is 60% vs whatever stock is.

Is there a way to raise the speed limit for Bluecruise to something more reasonable like 85 or 90?
If it were possible, which is a possibility, it'd require making the mileage / indicated speed incorrect. Ford doesn't trust it to go any faster. The mach-e wears 245-45 20s and may be a tire size that can be programmed to the F150. If you had the stock 33" tire size on, you could get 92mph actual at an 80mph indicated by telling the truck it had smaller tires on it.

I haven't tested this to see if the system will accept such or if there's a bit of code to watch GPS speed and error out if it's off by a certain margin. I also don't suggest intentionally making your mileage off without full disclosure. On the warranty side it's basically fraud, and on resale it's in violation of a handful of federal and state laws unless disclosed. Then you also get a mileage discrepancy flag unless you reset changes and program the indicated mileage correctly.

Keep in mind hands-on still works and is tricked with a ~2.5lb strap weight. The comma 3x has no speed limitations outside of the vehicles radar cruise limit. The F150 cruise control works until at least 92mph. It appears that ford will begin charging for bluecruise beginning in 2025 for vehicles that came with a 3yr paid window once it expires. The bluecruise 1.3 vehicles that only came with 90 days access, they must pay upon 90 day expiration. $800/yr or a one time cost of ~$1300 for the comma 3x. Pretty easy choice.

Yea I have the perpetual bluecruise license according to my Sync page. Expires 2074 or something well beyond the trucks lifecycle. Not sure I need my speedo that wildly off...already have a lead foot, but I might try it just to see how BC measures speed if its purely by the speed sensors or if they are using GPS to balance out the inputs.

If I was timebound would for sure go the Comma 3x route. I had a comma device several years ago, sure has come a long way and the more people that use it and support the ecosystem the better it will be. I'm actually quite shocked tha one of the big 3 Mfgrs didnt snap them up to accelerate their own development efforts.

Don't worry, that 2074 time window will be corrected in future update.

Forscan. 2021 xlt f150. Recently installed power fold mirrors, standard, not tow mirrors. Switch is installed I can get the Lincoln auto fold to work, but was wondering if there is a way to do Ford auto fold? Reason is, I would like to keep the puddle lights working. Haven’t seen anything that notates this workaround.
Thanks for any help.
