I only got mine from Ziegler because at the time Granger wasn't selling Ford's ESP. I did check Flood and a couple of others but Zeigler had a slightly lower price and I did most of the purchase online. I say most because I wanted to use my Ford Points to lower the cost and you have to call them to do that. I got mine in Jan 22 & I think Granger started selling them in March 22 but I don't remember for sure.

If you buy it after 41K miles, you need to pay Ford to inspect the vehicle and give it a clean bill of health before you can get the ESP. For me, 6 years 75K miles was $3000. I had 53K on the truck and I bought it used and got a great price. The warranty was a no brainer.

So what If I already have a warranty and just want to bump it up by say 1 year.. Will they take the difference between the 6 year 100k and the 7 year 125k and charge me the 800 dollar difference?

I got mine from Flood Ford online (after checking prices with other dealers people on here recommended. i.e. Ziegler, Lombard, Granger, etc., but Flood was a few $ cheaper] and used my FordPass bucks to apply to the cost and then just paid with e-check from savings. Ford will no doubt be increasing their extended warranty prices due to all the issues with late model year vehicles. They did increase the ESP cost last year already as well. I did hear that the longer you wait and the more miles you put on after purchase, the higher your cost, even if you are in the first 3 years of warranty. It might just be a a few bucks, but a few bucks is a lot these days. Lol. So, if I were you, I wouldn't wait - buy it now! ;)

Compared prices and features of the different online sites to purchase a factory warranty from. Purchased an 8 year 100,000 mile plan from Granger last week. I recieved notification that it was valid several hours later. Three weeks before one year in service, so I saved a couple of bucks. Very happy with my experience.

That's my experience, extending my ESP term through the dealer that sold me the original plan.

When I bought my truck with ESP in June 2022 the max term Ford offered was 96 months (8 yrs). In December 2022 they started offering up to 120 months (10 yrs). Granger extended my coverage for the simple price difference:

(Price of 120mo ESP on 12/22) - (amount paid for 96mo ESP 6/22) = cost to increase term

All calculated using Granger's discounted prices, the increase was $820 in my case, there was no added transaction / admin fee or anything like that.

It was an easy telephone transaction, I paid with VISA, I received the revised ESP certificate a week or so later and FordPass accurately reflects the updated ESP term. (y) :)

If getting the Premium Care plan is it better to get it the day you buy a new truck or before the 3y/36k warranty runs out.
Just looked up premium care from both Zeigler and Granger for a NC address. Not sure if there is a sale, misprint or what because the Ziegler plan (Certified Premiumcare) 7/150K/$200 deductible is ~$1000 cheaper than the same Granger (Premiumcare) 7/150K/$200 Deductible. I didn't include rental but did include lighting and Key Fob. $2020 vs $2815....Maybe the term 'certified' might have something to do with it. Anyone with any thoughts on this price difference?

The major difference is that buying it at the dealer allows you to work it into the financing, but there is a price for that obviously.

I passed at the dealer, but the more I thought about how much high tech stuff these new trucks depend on, and the enormous costs to replace a camera or a module or computer I thought it would probably be worth it.

I did an end run and went to Floodford site and got a 8 year 125k mile warranty for like $2300, instead of paying my dealer $1500+ more for it, it's just an upsell that's very profitable for the dealer and Finance guy.
SO I never heard of this Floodford website so I checked it out this afternoon. I bougth 2021 F-150 Lariat in 2021 is SE Michigan. At the dealer, I paid $810.00 for 8 year straight TireCare vs website price of $710.00 and I bought PremiumCare 8 year (96 months) with 150,000 miles for $4220.00 at dealership vs $3,910.00 on website

Check to make sure you're really comparing apples-to-apples.

The "Certified" may be for a pre-owned vehicle while straight "PremuimCare" is for the original owner.

If there's any question I'd call Granger to discuss - they're great folks to work with, no shenanigans and they'll work to get you the best deal they can deliver to fit your situation.

Yes, I did purchase a 2023 PB with 585 miles on it and was 'Gold Certified'...original purchaser failed to finance...looking at the coverage, it appears to be the same...premiumcare from both companies, Granger had no box for "certified gold' and with over 1000 parts covered...on both quotes.

Still suggest you make the free call and give 'em a chance to rectify / clarify what may simply be a website omission applicable to pricing for your situation.

They may indeed be higher priced, or they may save you money when the situation is fully explained / understood.

Just for your consideration.

I bought the extended from Granger, for me it was a must since I bought it back in Jan 2021 and it was the first year of the redesign. I figured there was bound to be electrical issues later on I didn't want to deal with.

One side note, take a look at the addition of the light coverage with it. I didn't get it, figured everything is LED and they last forever. One of my drls went out, kicked myself for not getting that added to my warranty. One headlight replacement would have covered the additional cost.
