After 12 months 12k miles ESP is $100 more for any length of coverage. It doesn't go up again until after you pass 3 years 36k. Like I said it's not killer, but $100 is $100 if you plan to buy ESP might as well keep that money.I usually agree with FordTruck... but there is no penalty or increase before 3\36. Ideally you want to drive and 'learn' your driving habits. Some people dont put 7,000 on their truck per year. Others put 20,000 on their truck per year.
When you are close to either 3yr or 36k miles, but not over either of them, call and get quotes specific to your driving. It might be a 7yr 100,000 or an 8yr 80,000... and each of those will have a different cost.
My last truck 2015 Plat was 8yr, 125k, and at 7yrs 7 months I was at 118k when I sold...
Light coverage is separate add-on.Thank you for the answers. The sensors and headlights being half the cost of the warranty made the decision to get it easy.
Hmm, my last few buys have been through Lombard and Jack always says pre 3\36 and you're good. After 12 months 12k miles ESP is $100 more for any length of coverage. Note, too, that Ford does occasionally increase prices across-the-board on all plans (they did that earlier this year). After 12 months 12k miles ESP is $100 more for any length of coverage. I seem to remember an option to include lights, which was more $$...Thank you for the answers. The sensors and headlights being half the cost of the warranty made the decision to get it easy.
Sometimes they raise the prices twice a year. Typically in January and if I'm not mistaken I think they raised it again this past summer. Usually Zeigler notes an upcoming price increase on their homepage, others may do this too.Note, too, that Ford does occasionally increase prices across-the-board on all plans (they did that earlier this year).
Yeah, and as far as I've seen those increases are such that I couldn't keep up with them by deferring purchase and investing the dollars.Sometimes they raise the prices twice a year.
