What kind of wonky LTs are those with load ratings of potato???

31.7" tire, 2,469lbs at 50 psi, 46lbs each.

Yeah I’m going down to 285/70/18
TOYO TIREOPEN COUNTRY A/T IIILT285 /70 R18 127S E1 BSW. They weigh 58 pounds. 6 pounds lighter than the ones I currently have.
I just installed 275/60/20 Goodyear Wrangler Trail Runners. Why? Because they only weigh 42 lbs and while technically rated as an SL, they have a max psi of 51 which really makes them an XL. And for the type towing a 1/2 ton truck should be limited to, that is perfectly acceptable. Oh...they were also only $210/tire.

Just got back from camping this past weekend. Haven’t washed the truck yet.

Im going to go with same tire and same size. Once i get my 2.5 level. Dont really wanna mess with the tire change to much. My stocks are 265/70/18. And i feel like 295/70/18 are to big and mess up my mpgs more. And 275/70/18 are still to small. 285/70/18. Is the sweet spot

They the toyo open country III i put on are nice. They weigh 58 lbs. somehow I am still taking a big hit on my mpg. I have yet to hit 20 mpg. I’m at a loss bro. I hear different things from different people. My truck is a gas hog and I can’t figure it out.

You’re not getting great gas mileage because in part, your tires weigh roughly 15 pounds each more than stick I believe combined with the tread on those all terrain don’t help the rolling resistance.

i know the weight compared to the SL tires it came with. I did not know much about tires at the time. These tires have high ratings for highway noise. I got it. Just gonna roll with them

Yeah your truck looks great and by all accounts those seem to be great tires! Just enjoy your truck and try to not worry about the mpg so much. Easier said than done haha.
