Beautiful truck! Kind of regret not getting the BAP on my 23 Lariat lol. Can you provide a link or anything for the black lugs? I have the stock 18’s and think the black would be super clean looking. Thanks man!

Plenty of n/a and boosted ones rolling around without issue. If there is, that’s what a warranty is for
Specifically, there is a TSB for the 5.0 for some f150's manufactured in certain date ranges in 2023.

94. No pump e85 here unfortunately.

My 2018 ran 13.2 with a gt manifold, omega tune and a lot less weight on a e30 blend (94/c85). Surprised this is not far off with everything stock.

Yes, the 5.0 are a lot faster than the published times by MotorTrend etc. those guys really have no clue about engines. They use 87 octane to test it and gimp it down then go throw premium in the turbo ones. The 5.0 is a high 12:1 compression engine with dual PFDI injection and needs 91-93 octane to perform its best. 30 RWHP difference between regular and premium on most dynos including 5 Star. They are gimped down on 87 and don’t produce good times while the computer scrambles to stop detonation by retarding the ignition, but the clueless journalists think N/A engines cannot utilize premium. I don’t waste my time reading MotorTrend or car and driver for the most part anymore. They are a bunch of soy drinking idiots who don’t even know what’s going on with an engine. Realistic 0-60 on good pump gas is mid 5’s by all accounts.

This might be my favorite sentence on the forums.

A lot of it has to do with the spec tested too. The only 21+ 5.0 that's been tested was MotorTrend's fully loaded King Ranch long bed that weighed 5,687 lb, which is even more than the Lariat 4x4 Powerboost I had (5,665 lb).

Ford purposefully gave C&D almost the lightest optioned lariat Powerboost (5,794 lb) to test with smaller wheels & tires, no power running boards, no sunroof, no max tow, no FX4, no power tailgate, no massaging/layflat seats.....

IMO, that's how every F150 should be ordered, but I understand some people like their butt's fondled and to get horizontal in the truck...

Damn good times with that 5.0 and a four door too. Imagine if it was a RCSB with the 5.0 ?

Not alot but it worked well

- 18+ GT manifold (unported)
- MAK Y pipe (catless)
- Flowmaster Flow FX exhause with a vibrant ultra quiet resonator (much needed after the y pipe)
- OZ Omega Tune
- 28" tall tire on oem 17"
- Minor weight reduction (rear seats, spare)
- E30. 95 cut with VP C85
Did you find the torque go down at lower rpm with the manifold? I read that the manifolds in the 21+ 5.0 move the torque band to higher rpm’s
