I've been one of them complaining about that. I have a prepaid carwash account and drive through probably 3x a week.
My warning lights and sounds AGAIN went off the other day, when the brushes were close to the front of the truck.
If I had a nickel for every time I've turned off "pre collision assist".......

Oh no, not the evil car wash brushes!

Been considering using one even though I know it creates a mess of paint. Not sure how to get truck to move along in a car wash with all the bells and whistles.

Some guys swear by brushless but I've been using this same car wash for at least 15yrs over multiple autos. My antimatter blue truck has no issues with paint, my previous white you couldn't see anything and my wife's grey Explorer nothing. I think it's over hyped.

noticed my settings changed, in particular the ‘my view’ dash menu reverted to what appears to be the factory default

I've had that happen before. It's expected with some forscan changes, but I've had it happen randomly as well.

Well, apparently, my truck, built the first week of May 23, has had no OTA updates then. Granger said they updated it, the first week of June as part of pre delivery.

I have it enabled but no permissions to my home WIFI.

Everything is cool, so I'm taking it as no news, is good news. For now.

Just out of curiosity, I checked the version #.

Checked for updates. There is a update now button but this is what it said.

My Ford pass is up to date and I've checked the Ford.com account too. No alerts, no vehicle health warnings, no recalls, which so far, makes sense, since the dealer would have taken care of anything and the one issued since I got the truck (harness rubbing) didn't include mine.

Far as I know, I've never had an update since the dealer's pre delivery prep.

Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

Go to the request VIN lookup thread and ask rugdraw to check you OTA status, he'll be able to tell you where you're truck is at.

No, I don't think he minds at all. He's always happy to help. He can only do checks when he's at work weekdays.

When an OTA is sent to your truck, the last successfully installed update should be listed in Fordpass. This can be seen in 2 places. Under vehicle, features and settings, hit the software updates tile, scroll down and it will be listed there. Also in the upper right corner under account if you hit that and check notifications a successful install will be listed there.

I have an descriptive of what Ford power updates is, a setting (where the schedule is set) Auto updates (on) and a FAQ. No listing of any updates.

I don't have a notifications button. There is a message center but again, nothing about updates.

Oops, yes "message center" it should look like the picture below, each update can be viewed to see what it was and ota number such as 4.3.5

Under software updates a screen like this should appear, but this eventually goes away and then goes back to displaying only your OTA time, days settings.

On the message center screen, all I have are the first 3 that ever showed up.

The authorization notification, one about Ford Pass Points and one about Sirus.

Wow, something doesn't seem right there, I still have the first 3 screens you mentioned in message center, but many many more after that.
You, could try deleting your phone in the truck, then clear fordpass cache and data, Uninstall and reinstall Fordpass and then reconnect to the truck.
Question, can you lock, unlock, and remote start from your Fordpass? Also scheduled start will send a notification to the message center after start, you could test this first.

Your next update will likely be the digital manual update. Nothing this year brings new features. You'll get updates when Ford feels like it, just like the rest of us. ?
