The question is - will they eventually make this available to 2021 F150 or do we have to look at upgrading to a newer model?

I have always been confident that it would be sent out to the 21. I thought it was going to be June but it seems since they were working on 1.3 they waited to send it out when it was ready versus the 1.2 then 1.3

THe mach e hasnt even seen the updates yet. Ive been monitoring vins for weeks. I see a 23 with a update for a gateway it recently became available. The 23 shipped at 1.2 but no 21-22 Mach e has had a BC update.


So I would be patient. Its coming. Ford is slow. Im sure they will drop it to create retention with subscriptions. No reason to keep it at the current abilities. Drop new capabilities right before the free period ends and people will of course be curious enough to pay.

I haven't gotten an OTA update since 4.2.4 so I doubt I will get this.

Many perfectly healthy trucks haven't gotten an OTA update since 4.2.4

There's some grumblings in EAP about it not working right. I'm not a high interstate mileager so I didn't expect to be able to test it. EAP seems to pay attention to the telematics more for selection. It's funny they started sending out more 1.3 emails (may be error). The promised timeline for MME expires in 10 days, that's the public deployment, let alone EAP testing which seems to get pushed about a week ahead of time. Still missing at least 2 updates and they push maybe 1 a week at most. I'm not holding my breath.

I still follow the MME forum despite being banned for a month due to "politics" for thanking God hilary's reign was but 3 days (the hurricane) by the mod whose avatar is a pic of him wearing a face diaper standing in front of his MME on pickup day (outside).

I'm not thrilled about Blue Cruise. I've tried it a couple of times and my Platty PB pulls to the right more than Tucker Carlson ?. I'll just stick to holding the steering wheel like I've been doing for over half a century.

Is it true that Blue Cruise can be purchased even on models that don't have Blue Cruise listed on the sticker? I'm taking delivery on my Lariat Powerboost tomorrow, but I don't have BC on the sticker. Heard they were going to make it available though. Anyone heard?

No. BC requires hardware. 502a up for 21-23.

24 XLT up will have BC.

If you dont have the hardware you would have to add that and also figure out the programming to add it.

I agree if they CAN add it to our trucks they will. It's all about the subscription money. People pay stupid money for TV streaming apps and never cancel them. If Ford gets the price reasonable enough then people will get on board with subscription services. I can see a "lifetime" plan for stupid money being an option too. Or you get it as needed with a subscription you'll forget to cancel.
