@Red M Code It shouldn't have an opening if you have the 5.0L V8 since that engine doesn't require an intercooler.

It came that way from my factory order. Maybe check with the factory as to why it came that way?

I have a supercharger and i would like more airflow up there. (yes, i realize the turbo trucks have the intercooler down low and mine is up higher…but the added air will keep everything cooler)

I dont like the plastic insert in my grill either. I have the 5.0 and I really prefer the look of the other trucks. However, if I remove mine there are no vertical bars like the other trucks. it ends up a big open hole. SO.. I am looking for a way to either put a grill in there like those made by Putco or mountains2metal. or fabricate something

Got around to colour matching and my exhaust done.

The 5.0 comes with it open if it has a block heater.

I have a 2022 RCSB with plow package. No active air damn as you stated, but my lower is covered. No opening there.
