No OTA history in the past 60 days and no OTA in queue at this time. Can someone check 1FTFW1E51NFA24671? Much appreciated.
If you still had a GWM or IPMA update in the queue when you quit work it is likely they were blocking the APIM update from appearing. Next time, do those first (and any TCU updates for good measure) and a new APIM should appear. Updates are often iterative. You need to apply one and then another appears and when you apply the new one another appears after that. But eventually you will get through them all.My FDRS 2 Day license just expired last night and I was able to update a bunch of vital updates over the last 48 hours. But there was no APIM software update thats showed up during my time with the license. Any feedback would be appreciated.![]()
You are on Sync 22177, so it is too recent for you to have a leg to stand on to get them to use any of the TSB's out to update your truck. You can try the "I haven't gotten an update in over 6 months" routine and see if you can get them to do anything, but it's a long shot.Looking for some backup to take to the dealership with me. Last update I got was in October, and I'm not sure it was even the most current one then.
Javier, could you help me out and let me know what you see? 1FTFW1E58MKE28461
I know I'm not stuck quite as far as others have been. I have already been in once and they gave me some 'ford is releasing an update this month that should fix it' which they said would be end of last month. So I at least have a foot in the door there. With the inability to receive any OTA updates, even some sort of list of what is pending would be pretty helpful in fighting the good fight I think. I'd rather not have to buy the mongoose and do the updates myself with FDRS.You are on Sync 22177, so it is too recent for you to have a leg to stand on to get them to use any of the TSB's out to update your truck. I don't have an active FDRS license to check for you, but I'm sure the list is long. The thing is, your truck is not "unable" to get updates. The problem is that Ford hasn't sent one to you in 7 months. There is nothing wrong with your truck.I know I'm not stuck quite as far as others have been. If that's what it comes down to, would anyone rent/loan the cable?
rugedraw is correct about 22177 and dealer not updating. while that is slightly out of date, good news is that you, like many others, received that sync update ota successfully back in September. at least you are getting updates albeit slowly. The dealer performed a few modules updates, but not all of them. You are on Sync 22192 and OTA 3.5.3 was sent to you in February, but failed to install as has happened to many others. I see that on 3/13, your truck went bat-shit crazy and threw up a plethora of DTC's including the ECU and PCM. The dealer pulled up a few TSB's and then updated the PCM and 3 other modules and it seems to have solved whatever issue it had. They did not update everything, though. If they did, you would have full screen capability for your phone and a higher version of Sync. They would have had to update your APIM, and they did not. Ford does not pay them to update modules unless there is a problem, and since the APIM has nothing to do with the issue your truck has, they didn't touch it.Can someone check mine? I had some corruption and had to take it to the dealer. Truck was locked up and not able to be driven for 20 minutes. When I let it sit for a while, I was able to get it in gear and I took it straight to the dealer. They told me they updated everything to the latest, but I don't think so. It has been a month since that, and Fordpass show no updates since October.

PTS shows that update installed successfully on 2/24. You can ignore whatever the app is saying. That will not affect you getting any other OTA's that may get sent to you.Updates to my 2021 Job 1 Lariat PB have worked well all along via OTA. ?
On February 1 it received 3.5.4, as shown in Messages in the Ford Pass app and in settings in the truck.
However, for the last few weeks the FP app is showing a Vehicle Alert:
Update Scheduled - Review Your Date and TimeThe date & time is set for 11:02 PM, 7 days a week.
Tapping the update for details shows:
It's on step 2 of 3 (Schedule Update)The Priority Update is 22-PU1007-DOR-UP
Thinking back, I seem to remember using the Update Pending icon (on the 12" screen) to install a post 3.5.4 update, followed by an Update Successful message.
Since seeing the Vehicle Alert in FP app, I have been watching the 12" screen for the Pending Download or Pending Update icons have NOT seen anything.
So, it seems the FP app thinks an update is in-process, and my truck disagrees.
The concern is my truck is now in some odd error state and won't receive further OTA updates.
Would someone please check my OTA status: 1FTFW1EDXMFB28212
Thanks!
