Would anyone be kind enough to look my VIN up please. Ford finally replaced the APIM and hoping that everything as far as updates go aren't so far behind that I'll never get updated.

I see the ran the APIM config process, but not the PMI process that usually goes with the installation of a replacement module. Your Sync version is blank in PTS and I can't see it. What sync version does your truck say it is on when you look in your settings?

Can't say that I remember, at least one of those lines was blank as I was stuck in the limbo where the truck wouldn't allow updates and couldn't turn the auto update on. Its been to the dealer probably 3 or 4 times for the same issue about the updates.

Oh, in that case, they did good for you. You aren't fully up to date, but you will get OTA's now whenever Ford decides to send one out to you.

1FTFW1E56MFB04739. Received last update 2.7.4 in Oct 2022. Had truck serviced at dealership today and asked for newest update. FordPass is scheduled for tonight to update 2.7.4 again! Tia

Hi all! I posted in the thread about “stuck” 2021 job 1s. Since then, I had another trip to the dealing and am told the update failed again and they are waiting to hear back from the “hotline”. They said a day or so and that was Monday. Can someone please look up to see what, if anything, they did (besides reset my dashboard settings)? Please and thank you! Vin: 1FTFW1ED7MFA94634

I can see they tried to run the module repair process on your APIM several times and it failed all three times. It sounds like they are waiting for Ford engineering to tell them what the next step should be.

Coincidentally, you were actually sent OTA 1.7.1 yesterday and it is pending in your queue as I type this.

Thank you very much. At least they tried more than once this time! I assume nothing will happen with 1.7.1 until they fix the APIM issue?

I can't answer that question intelligently. Honestly, I am surprised you got an OTA sent to you period.

Edit: 1.7.1 is an APIM update.

looks like your truck took 2.7.4 update this am and your sync is 22177 which is not too far behind. seems that updates are coming just slowly

your apim is very out of date and has probably never updated. you are scheduled to get 1.7.1 apim update but that is also pretty old. FDRS shows quite a few
