This is copied from the "other" forum, looking for a solution! A clue, even...

Using FORScan, I have enabled a few items with no issues. Today was for Global Windows Open/Close. I made the changes to APIM (for SYNC4 menu), and DDM, PCM, and BdyCM (as it appears for me). I have verified the changes three times, still no joy. I decided to check the settings with the "Easy" method. All Global Windows options in APIM, DDM, and PCM are Enabled. Now the fun part. In BdyCM, here are the options. Global Open - Vehicle and Global Close - Vehicle are Enabled. Anyone with a 2023 and Global Windows working care to verify that this is correct for me? I really don't know what else to try at this point. I'm guessing that the second "press and hold" should only be for a second or two, and I've tried way past that.
And I don't know if it is important, but where is the Global Windows option supposed to be located at in the SYNC4? I can't find it anywhere, although APIM says that it is Enabled.
Ford F-150 Global Windows for '23? 1676909870253

....................................................Start................................. Now
APIM 7D0-09-01 = 6117 C2A8 FABD / 6117 CEA8 FAC9 (already has Glare-Free added)
DDM 740-06-02 = 010A 0000 005A / 010A 0000 015B
DDM 740-06-03 = 0001 0000 0556 / 0101 0000 0557
PDM 741-06-02 = 010A 0000 005B / 010A 0000 015C
PDM 741-06-03 = 0001 0000 0557 / 0101 0000 0558
BCM 726-11-02 = 0000 0000 0040 / 0001 0001 0042
BCM 726-22-01 = 0000 0000 0050 / 0000 0000 0151
BCM 726-22-02 = 0000 0000 0051 / 0000 0000 0152

I do not know what to try next, so I reach out to the Brainiacs here!

So I just checked them against the values I have, I do not see any differences. I wonder if something was changed for the 23's...

Also, try posting your question here, you will likely get a lot more responses

I did so, and then went out to the truck to find the SYNC4 option where John917 said it was. And they were both off. I turned them on, and the windows work! Which leaves the puzzle of why John917 doesn't.

For some reason I thought you’d said you had already done that on the other forum, so I didn’t even mention it

I forgot I added this back last month. It never worked for me but had to take it into the dealership so I put everything back to stock. I ended up manually putting my changes back (antiglare, no double horn, this, etc). I just tested it and it works. Not sure why it works now and not before. It'll roll up and down the front windows.

I'd leave things as they were. When you modify those variables, they eventually get propagated back to the master servers. So long as you haven't done anything recently, the changes remain even if a part is replaced. Upon install the truck's last config is downloaded into the new module. There's no need to flip flop on your forscan changes unless you broke something during the variable changes which should be rectified immediately.

The vehicles continually call home and provide ford with feedback, including your forscan config.

That is exactly what I have. Once I switched to "On" in SYNC4, everything worked!

at this point, I'm over it. I really don't understand why it doesn't work.

no i don't.
You may not have the correct receiver for the signal, or the correct key fob to send the signal, or both. I don’t think the receiver for unlocking the vehicle is the same as the one for rolling down the windows. There’s a very specific receiver under the cup holders for the push button start key fob.

I could be completely wrong, but I think that may be the issue

has this ever been verified to work in a non Push button start vehicle?
