Check FDRS thread I think they have minimum requirements there. Go a little better than that. Forscan doesn't require as strong requirements but might as well get something decent.

You will get into updating your truck yourself...that is FDRS to keep it current with the latest software.

EDIT; I have an Acer Aspire ES 15. It works great with Forscan and FDRS.

Off topic - I have an old windows 10 laptop that I use for both FDRS and Forscan only. Also, all my information I have gathered from this forum...LOL

I think that’s the direction I’ll go when I get brave enough to mess with forscan and FDRS. Probably use it for a guitar processor I’ve got as well! Mayby if I’m capable of handling the updates for it…. I’m callable of updating my truck!! Lol
