You can save your AsBuilt to file and then open the file with that awesome software program that compares AsBuilt files.
(The name escapes me, but it's discussed in this thread several times)

The guy that everyone b*&%ches to at work...
No luck. Still getting the same limited view when in motion. Oh well. Hopefully it gets sorted out. It was a nice feature.

Wait, there was a way in forscan to not have the, to quote my 17 y/o son, “idiotic box” covering the view?

No. It doesn't appear in the other views though.

Is there a way to download and look at your data offline? It would be nice to see something in the spreadsheet and open something and see what my value is without having to run out to the truck and get forscan all setup to check a value.
Download your asbuilt from the following page first, then use asbuilt explorer to easily look at it and compare with others.

Also, which spreadsheet are you using for this reference? The one I'm using doesn't have those entries.

Livnitup's FORScan - 2021-22 F150 - Google Sheets
I am using that spreadsheet. See lines 5-7 direct from that sheet below. I just make my own version adding a column between A and B in the common tab to keep track of dates I changed things, stuff to try next, etc.

Ford F-150 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet 1672592684503

The "fix" line I included isn't in the sheet though. It seems some F150s work fine without the fix. Some have to have this fix for the cameras to work (mine). And for some, like yourself, they can't get it to work even with this fix.

So... I "dunno."

But I think I will be done with "de-Santafication" soon and can compare our asbuilts. If you want me to look send me your VIN. Then what other IPMA n APIM changes have you made in Forscan from stock? I have done cameras at speed, global windows, tweaked IOD cards, glare free headlights, offroad camera, silent mode, changed splash screens and turned on unreal theme.....

I've been going through all the different setting and have a few questions:

I see all kinds of setting for gauges, Do any of these work? All kinds of temp, pressure, afr and voltage gauges that would be nice to see. Especially Voltage, How do we not have any kind of voltage meter or gauge??

There are all kinds of setting for oil life. What do you guys think about changing these in regards to warranty? I'm currently setup for 10k/1yr. I'd love to set it up for 5k\6m which is what im actually doing. And yes, There is a setting for this.

Is there a list of Pid abbreviations? I have no idea what most of these mean.

In the Headlamp Control Module, What is Sign Based Light Mode and Maneuvering Light ? Does the sign mode light up the signs with the dynamic headlights like Volvo does?

What happens if we turn something on we don't have? If nothing happens just put it back? Nothing corupts?

There's a couple of threads that discuss the various PIDs available for monitoring all kinds of parameters on these Gen14 rolling data centers. :)

Look for a thread(s) with OBDLink in the title.

Of course monitoring is very different than editing Forscan AsBuilt values, but it's part of the ensemble of tools that are available to owner that desires to be engaged at a deeper level than the Instrument Cluster, if you know what I mean.

As for the oil life monitor.......
I personally have had that thing on ignore since it was invented. Ford is only concerned with getting 60,000 miles out of the motor. I'm shooting for at least double that, or triple?

So double would be 5000?
Triple 3300?
???
Just messing. Couldn't resist.

No.

The settings exist, but they are for other hardware in other vehicles.

You need Raptor IPC software for the additional gauges.

Changing the oil life in the IPC has no effect. I assume it’s coded in the PCM on this truck.

I’ve tried them all to no avail.

I had tried disabling the auto reverse brake alert (the alert that lets you know it's disabled each time you put it into reverse) by changing the following: IPMA 706-01-01 xxxx xxx* xx--)

Immediately afterwards I received the pre-collision assist error. I did not try resetting the IPMA module. I reverted the change and the p
Airborne_Ape on F150forum found this:

"I killed another nanny-mode warning chime"
IPMA 706-01-01 xxxx xxx* xxxx
Will disable auto-reverse-braking and the alert that lets the driver know the driver toggled it off.

see my common spreadsheet here for this entry
I’m new so hopefully I’m not beating a dead horse here. I’ve successfully done a few other mods with forscan (Bambi, disable fake engine noise, disable double honk, etc.) This seems like another no brained but when i make the change I get the pre-collision error. Am I missing something. The spreadsheet mentions “set ModuleFeatureCfg_RBA (MFCRBA) to disabed” I’m confused on that. Not sure how to do that. Is that what’s causing my issue. Thanks in advance.

So last night, I tried to revise the As-Built for the Global Windows Open and Close, which you can choose to enable, which I did, but nothing worked. Then I was going to do it manually.

Stock Open - 0000 0000 0040
Stock Close- 0001 0000 0557

Open Vaule Change - xx01 xx01 xx--
Close Value Change - 01xx xxxx xx--

Should it look like this below after revising?

0001 0001 0040 - Open
0101 0001 0557 - Close

After I changed the numbers in the 1st and 2nd row, the 3rd row would change from 0040 to 0042 and would get an error.

The last two values are checksum value that automatically recalculate. Just accept the message and let it roll. They aren't "as-built" addresses, so when those update, nothing with the truck changes

Did you also enable the global open/close in the APIM? if you give us screenshots of your PDM, DDM, and BCM as builts for the addresses below, this can help us determine the issue. I am not sure which addresses you are referring to as open and close

It also looks like you changed too many characters, and/or possibly the wrong ones:

Thank you the last values deff threw me off lol.

I did enable the global open/close in the APIM.

I didn't change the values in the on the 726-11-02 - BCM or the 741-06-03 - APIM which Ill do tonight.

Would those be the only 2 changes I need to complete or is it all 7 per the excel?

All 7 lines of addresses must be updated in order for it to work
