Hi there, Luis. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Add me to the list. Just drove 200 miles with cardboard and duct tape on my ~70,000 dollar truck. Not ideal for the 8 month old in the back. Dealer said It’ll be a month before they can get me in.

This is completly ridiculous!! They should be able to slide you in and at least roll up the window. If there are others dealers Ford around I would call them and see if they can be more useful.

Agreed. They should atleast roll your window up asap. It took a month for my switch to get delivered.

Took it in to the dealership it literally took longer to fill out the paper work for the new part order, they rolled up the window for me disconnected the faulty switch just waiting on the new part to arrive to install it.

Add me to this list…2022 Larait built at Dearborn plant in early December 2021. Almost 18,000 miles on the odometer. Rolled the rear passenger window down this afternoon and is now stuck in the down position. Can hear it clicking but nothing happens. The weird thing is I noticed when I rolled it down I actually released the button early and it kept going all the way down like the auto up down of the front windows. Luckily I have an appointment at the dealer Wednesday for service and tsb 22-2224. Hopefully if they can’t get the part they can get the window back up for me like others have had done.

Add me to the list as well. 22 Tremor with 2k miles..I was able to get it back up by frustratingly flipping the switch. Did anyone have theirs automatically roll down or was it stuck open after you opened it. We had 110 temps today so I rolled it down to, then noticed it the rear passenger door window was all the way down vs. being a 3-4inch vent like the others.

Won't be able to get the truck seen until next month, so I am hoping this doesn't automatically happen. I hope Ford releases a TSB or something because I'd really hate to hate this truck as it's my third F150 and the others had no issues. With that said, I'd be incredibly upset if a 72k truck has to have a plastic bag covering the window.

I'm at the dealership right now getting my window issue addressed and some other items that I had already had an appointment for. The service manager seemed pretty familiar with the window issue so i'm guessing this is happening quite a bit. He hasn't said anything about whether or not the switch is on backorder as they are still diagnosing the problem. I've had several trucks over the past 10-12 years including 5 brand new F-150's, 1 GMC, 1 Toyota, and 1 Ram. I like the Fords and the way they drive but man all of them have had to go back to the dealership multiple times for issues. Some were minor and others like the door latch freezing up on my 2018 were pretty major and frustrating. I know that Ford produces quite a few more trucks than the other brands but it just seems like quality control has taken a back seat and it's more about getting them out the door. Luckily i'm able to work from where ever i am some times so i'm not having to take a day off just to run to the dealer. I did have to drive over an hour to the dealer that i bought the truck from because they were only booked out a week for appointments where as my local dealer was booked out until late October.

I meant to send an update yesterday but didn't have a chance. I have to give credit to the service department at Expressway Ford in Mt Vernon Indiana. That is where i bought my truck but i live more than an hour a way from there. Have bought 5 vehicles from them...i usually don't make the drive up there just for routine maintenance but when i have other bigger issues i always try to go to them. While i was there yesterday they were able to replace the bad switch to fix my window (surprised that they had one), performed TSB 22-2224, took care of trailer brake control module recall, and serviced my truck and i was in an out of there in right at 2 hours. Out of all the dealer service departments that i have had experience with in the past they have been by far the best to work with. That's one reason why they have continued to get by business if i'm going to buy a ford product.

I just linked this thread over on an Explorer ST forum that I'm part of. It seems the same issue is happening for them, too.

they fixed mine this morning in about an hour. They had several other trucks with the same thing that have not brought their vehicles in yet. Sounds like a very well know problem that ford should do a recall on.

I had this issue happen in early June this year. RO said window switch was on back order until 7/15. Dealership rolled the window up manually (I believe) then disabled the switch until the part came in. It did not take the full month plus, but still about a week I want to say.
