Passenger Window won’t close without issue

Just started today. Passenger window won’t close all the way and when I use the switch and try again, it immediately lowers like you see in the video. Once I hold the switch in the up position, it stays closed. Also, the window won’t lower all the way, about an inch sticks out of the seal.

I haven’t seen this issue posted anywhere else. Annoyed because I pay out of pocket for warranty issues at a local mechanic and get refunded weeks later since I live in a remote part of Alaska and there’s no Ford dealerships.

Here is a better video that shows what’s going on. The only way that it stays closed is if you hold the switch up for a few seconds.

It’s called bounce back. You just need to calibrate it. Easy! I had this happen and the calibration process fixed it.

Thank you for the link. This ended up being the solution. I have to say, first-year generation of these models definitely have their corks. Glad to see there’s nothing too crazy (other than the rust issues).

Have the same bounce back issue on the driver’s side. Have done the reset procedure 3 times in the last week. Will add it to the list of watch items for first service visit.
