What happens when you pull up close to an object in the front?

@Snakebitten
Currently nothing, unless I manually launch the cameras and I can both see the colored alerts and hear them.

Yes sir. And I will definitely be comparing my AsBuilt with what the OP documented.

Unless you have a better idea?

If you want to PM me your vin i can look real quick since yours isn't typical. Its going to be in the IPMA but without knowing what you already have is kinda hard.
706-16-01 config with (newstyle) is the camera popup. Old style is like the photo i showed you. Could also be other bits that need flipped.

As in the photo, took the truck to the dealer since the front camera never came on when pulling up close to the planter box at the front side of the driveway.

It has worked since they did this.

This is the what you are missing for the assist

Exactly!
And was expecting to be missing since that lines up with the "Park Assist Delete" and credit. But when the truck showed up with all the visible hardware it implies that I shouldn't have to do without the front sensing camera launch.

Excellent information!

Thanks. I have FDRS, so I will certainly attempt to replicate their efforts.

So, just to clarify, for a '21 XLT 302A without BC and without 360 camera (no active assist), but WITH rear parking sensors, this mod will not work?
The wiring harness part that i referenced would not work with your vehicle. As far as i can tell, the difference is the LED Fog Lights. You would need to substitute the wiring harness part number i referenced for one that matches your build. The other parts and settings would be the same though.

I believe I do have theLED fogs. If so, would the harness be correct?

thanks for clarifying... No I only got the 360 camera and tow package...
Not saying it isn’t possible, the variable is the wiring harness. Just have to make sure that you have the correct harness for your build. The wiring harness i referenced is for F150s which have auto leveling LED headlights, LED Fog Lights, pre-collision front radar, and connectors for (4) front proximity sensors. If your vehicle uses halogen headlights or incandescent fog lights, then i cant confirm it will work. You’ll may need a different part. The rest of the parts are correct though.

The front proximity sensors are controlled through the IPMA, so a seperate module is not required. So every F150 should be able to add and enable front proximity sensors as long as they use the correct wiring harness for their build.

What i dont know is whether there really is a difference between the harness i cited and one that is used for an F150 that uses Halogen/Incandescent lights. I cant confirm since I haven’t looked into it.

If you do then i cant think of a reason as to why it wouldn’t. There isn’t any other parts that i am aware of that you would be missing.

You obviously wont need to do the FORSCAN steps to enable the camera settings though. It should still alert you when you get close to an object though.

I agree that something "hardware" should be missing or the Factory delete wouldn't have happened. And I know the buzzword is "chip", but what module is missing the chip?

Just curious

I might not have spoken clearly, but I'm not actually after the missing Park Assist feature but would enjoy the autolaunch of the camera. So if the OP added the bumper sensors, harness, and Forscan changes and successfully enabled the camera trigger, I'm assuming that I just need Forscan editing?
Best way to check is change your IPMA 706-01-01 to enable ODCV with FORSCAN and see if your front camera turns on when your front proximity sensors detect an object. If it doesn’t, then i would assume your IPMA is different.

Should have mentioned mines a 21. Not sure if there would be a difference. Thought I should clarify that.
