Gotcha. Mine shipped by rail on the 7th. I asked because I‘m able to track it through CSX. Thought I could be of some help is all.

I wish you luck!
Nope thank you though. Have the supposed Virginia trucking company convoy number and has it for like 40 days lol.

Mine has been waiting in Kansas city for what will be 4 weeks this Thursday. Just needs to get on a semi and take a trip 3 hours North... any day now. (I wish we had the option to go pick up your vehicles right from the factory).
For what they charge in delivery costs now, you could take a Limo to pick it up, or a flight/hotel/lunch etc...As is, i believe it's GM that offers factory pickup on Corvettes. Most German manufacturers (in Germany) offer factory pickup too. But not Fooord.

Ask them why other trucks with same trim as mine being built shipped and delivered makes no sense at all. Mine has been built since 3/23 and why can't anyone tell me why it has not shipped. I was going to also order a maverick but after this fiasco I am looking at other options for that. I could understand if nothing was shipping but when you see trucks built after yours ship and mine still sits there does not sit well

Building..
Ask Ford and they'll give you 20 different excuses when in actuality the real issue is that Ford is shit at managing their verticals. Regardless of what global pandemic, supply chain issues, fuel prices, etc., etc.

Ford, and most of the auto companies have continued to build vehicles that they coul not finish. That vehicle sits waiting for components. Meanwhile some of your orders have gotten pushed back because they don't have parts. Is it because they built a vehicle that sits and rots on a parking lot, can't say for sure but possibly.

Ford is literally producing a truck a minute off the line. Think about how many parts that is per month. I just don’t believe that Ford has to leave trucks waiting for parts on the plant lot for several months.

The only thing I can think of is that while they can make a vehicle a minute, if those vehicles fail QC and now need a spare that is backordered, the truck goes to sit in a lot and now it’s outside of their highly tuned process.

And they’d rather keep turning out a truck a minute instead of spending an hour on a stuck truck.

Doesn’t matter much for dealer stock orders, they’ll do it when they do it.

It god damn sucks for retail customers.

You are absolutely right. Ford invoices dealers at, or about, blend date. I had a dealer tell me that their online accounts are immediately debited for payment at invoice date. Ford gets paid, but gets around to completing trucks with issues whenever it is convenient for Ford.

Then you would think that the dealer would have some incentive to help us. If we've been waiting 7 months since the build date, then they've been paying interest that whole time too.

That doesn't sound like an accounting practice that is legal - billing someone for something that has not been delivered.

Keep in mind that just because they're invoiced doesn't necessarily mean they're due at the time its received. Invoice could be due on delivery or acceptance. We're not sure what Ford's terms are.
