Ohh yeah, I’d have helped y’all out a while ago if I could search other dealers, believe me, I tried.

So I'm effectively on "component hold". I asked him what components its waiting on and if the next "shipped" email from Ford would indicate its on its way.Hello Mark!
I show your truck was initially scheduled to be built on May 13th and was actually produced on May 14th. Although it was showing as "Built" it is still awaiting some components to make sure that it is complete and ready for delivery.
Don't place too much emphasis on that September 28th date. I can promise you we will get you your truck well before then! I can keep an eye on this one rest assured that it is being well taken care of while awaiting shipment.
Apologies for the delay and cant wait for you to get your truck.
How did you get it to show that info? It does nothing for me, nor can I make an account. You have a load number. Not sure if that means anything tho??

Your truck may not be using it for delivery. It's after the rail has taken it to the last stop before convoy to the dealership. How did you get it to show that info? It does nothing for me, nor can I make an account.
I got a similar response, but wonder why it shows as built and both Ford customer service and my dealership is saying it is done waiting to be shipped.Got a response from Nick:

Frankly, I'm happy to have some material response from someone who can give me more information. While the wait is frustrating, the lack of and inconsistency of info is what gets me. I gotta give Nick credit. So far he looks like he's actually researching each request which is a high touch low volume job.
My dealer's VVR or is still showing mine as being shipped today, yet phone/chat say my ETA is July/August. It seems they are getting worse with information, rather than better. Talk about confused.I got a similar response, but wonder why it shows as built and both Ford customer service and my dealership is saying it is done waiting to be shipped.
…and my saleswoman said that they got two trucks in that both showed as awaiting shipment. Neither were mine.Got a response from Nick:

Having worked in large organizations in VP roles I can tell you there is inertia that is hard to overcome. He may be pushing but the flywheel takes time to change direction.Starting to think Nick was blowing smoke about expediting some trucks or he has no power, got overturned by higher management.
That's the kind of attitude we like around here! No quitters! Why did I keep the order this long? Partly because for the right price I'll drive it, partly because I don't want to reward the dealer by walking away, and very much for sport.
Should be an interesting meeting...
