You do not select auto updates from Ford Pass. Although Ford Pass does include instructions and can render what your trucks update schedule has been set at

I’m surprise the app shows your the update schedule with the Recurring Schedule; for us Canadians (as far as I know from friends who own one) we can’t see that just the instructions.

It's a very recent build and possibly has features enabled that are coming to yours soon.

I say that because my 2021, which was a full year older, needed a LOT of updates. With FDRS, by the time I traded it in it finally had most of the features of this 2022. But it did take a lot of updates.

Hopefully! Still stuck on 2.3.0 and dealer says that’s the latest version., mines a 2022 as well. I contacted Ford Canada and their answer was “Updates are rolled out on a rolling basis”, this was January lol..

If you want to pm me your VIN I can verify if your dealership is just bluffing. I have an annual license currently for FDRS.

Sure! When I get back to the camp, I’ll send you the VIN and I’m not sure, I’ll take a look at that as well. My friend’s 2021 got the same answer too from the dealer, I sent you a PM.

Auto updates toggle will be on your settings category, swipe the tiles till you see updates. The toggle to turn on auto updates will show on the truck’s sync 4 screen, you may need to add a schedule time to it as well, preferably around midnight or something, when your not driving. For example, mine is turned on everyday at midnight.

Don’t use exactly midnight. There was a post somewhere about it.

My Ford Pass shows my update schedule I have set in the truck.

That’s weird, none of my friends here in Alberta shows it at all. Mine neither. Here’s the screenshot. And yes all of our trucks 1AM daily now in the update schedule set in the trucks? FordPass app is up to date on iPhone 13 PM.

not sure. Probably their crack IT team's software can't handle it right on the switchover to a new day. Y2K all over again ha ha.

That indicates there IS a newer Sync version, but not offered as an FDRS update. Yet?

Based on revision numbers and software development, I doubt Ford (or anyone) would risk pushing a new update for every revision. APIM updates have bitten OTA in the butt and they gotta be a little gunshy?

I got the truck on the 18th. As far as I know I've had no recent update either. At least I havent been prompted for it.
