I ordered my 2.7 Lariat back in September with a high volume dealer from the Toronto area. The order was confirmed on October 13. Blend on the 13th of Jan. The chip hold ETA was April 30th according to the dealer. Ford Pass shows ”activate“ since sometime in February.
I blame it on too many accountants and spreadsheets, no resiliency in the supply chain.

Anyone else get on with a dealer stock order? Couldn't find a 302A 6.5 bed 5.0 Screw anywhere in Ontario and dealer had one coming in so put a deposit down, was built 1/13 but has been on chip hold ever since. Wondering if it being intended for dealer stock will lengthen the wait.

My latest ETA is May 02-08. I question whether it will be off a chip hold, produced or delivered in 5 days being I have no FordPass activation or notification of any type as of yet.

So just to update my truck is finally built as of April 30th and awaiting shipment with eta of 05/21/22 …. Probably won’t get my truck until end of May ..

Yeah, that guy sounds like a dick. There’s no question in my mind that it won’t be off a chip hold by the 8th, let alone shipped or delivered. I’ve just come to the realization that it’ll be pushing a year before I get my truck; I’ve passed the 10 month mark as of the first.
It seems that if you ordered a Platinum trim level that you get the short end of the stick. I’ve seen a few newer model Platinums on the road but it’s tough to find any in dealer stock. My faith in Ford is nonexistent.

Got this update from the dealer. From what I read online it could either be a good thing or a bad thing. Once again, I have no idea.

Have you looked at ordertrack.app? Like the Vehicle Visibility Report you shared, it shows "In Production" with a Vehicle Status of "On Hold". So it must be waiting on something before it will move to Awaiting Shipment and a Vehicle Status = ASN.

Have you looked at ordertrack.app? Like the Vehicle Visibility Report you shared, it shows "In Production" with a Vehicle Status of "On Hold". So it must be waiting on something before it will move to Awaiting Shipment and a Vehicle Status = ASN.

My order shows 'In Production" and status of "ASN" on ordertrack.app and has been like this for a month and a half when I first looked at the app. My dealer says "on chip hold" so I take everything in the app with a grain of salt since it is obviously not "Awaiting Shipment".

Weird my window sticker updated today also. Mine historically has updated on Tuesdays.

And I think realistically I'm looking at June at the earliest. Mine is still on a chip hold with no activate in fordpass. So even if it got built this week which looks doubtful it still has to get shipped and to me. That isn't happening before June 1 based on the experience of others.

Noticed mine updated also, no activate button but hey Ford at least knows what color my truck is?

5/3 - normal weekly window sticker update, no changes, no new ETA, still stuck at 4/18 - 4/24. Still rusting in a parking lot in Michigan.

Wonderful.

Mine has been rusting in a Dearborn parking lot since 1/26 which was when I got the "Built" email and FordPass became active. Since then it has just been repeated shipping delays.

I'm so disgusted with Ford's awful communication.

I talked to ford yesterday I was told My truck was shipped on the 28 and it is sitting at ramp 5m in new Boston mi waiting to go on the train.
