are you leaving the laptop connected and in the update mode while it does this?

FDRS will ask "was the update completed?" but don't click yes until the truck says complete. once that happens, FDRS will have you turn the truck off, on, and then validate the modules, then send the data to Ford that says its' good to go.

if you don't do those steps, then it will take a bit for your module information to make it back to the mothership.

Yea I've done this step by step a couple times and doesn't ever clear for some reason.

if I had understood the details of how this all works earlier, I would have recorded all the module information between every step made a map of what all the numbers progressed to along the way. My guess is you have a strategy number stuck in limbo.

if there is someone in the Houston area that has not updated yet and is wanting to use FDRS to do so, I can offer up my mongoose and FDRS license and support so we can step through it and gather that information.

Mine is the same as Relllk&5.
We both are at 21281 APIM
Both of us are XLT, 8” cluster, non 360 camera, non Blue Cruise.

Yeah.. I’ll need to confirm with someone that is actually beyond that what their cluster version is. Once we do that we can know what you two have to do. Could be an issue with the 8” similar to the 12”

Any tips on how to get past the GWM update. I go through the update process and even the USB update says complete on my radio screen but never clears on Fords side.

I was digging into the datalog on mine and found below. Not sure if it has anything to do with the GWM hanging but in the GWM update data log it mentions the CMR and IPMA need an update. I havenet received and updates on those modules. So it could be hanging because of that.

ok I think you and I are in the same boat. Same model and trim levels. I think the higher trim models are getting more updates for Sync than we are.

I have a Lariat with 360 camera but no bluecruise and I’m also at 21281. I was getting regular updates before, but nothing since that one.

I have a Lariat with 360 and Blue Cruise. Still waiting on that end. I’m at 21281 rev 244. Anyone able to see if I have any updates available?

Weighing whether I’m going to spring for the whole kit (Mongoose, license and battery maintainer).

I also am trying to figure out if I want to roll back Forscan from double honk, glare free, temp gauges, and cameras in motion.

I remember when the majority of us had a similar list.

If I knew then what I know now it would be far less of an adventure and more of just an arduous task.

However, I gotta admit that something inside of me is now disappointed when I login and run a query only to find there's nothing there for my truck.

At some point you have to come down from the high? ?

I dont believe the raptor will be receiving those updates. Ford stated the BC wont be available for Raptors

Right, Just weird that they would push a GWM update for bluecruise if that was the case.

Full newbie with FDRS here and I know I am waaay behind, but just reporting my first success.

I've been stuck at 1.7.1 for a long time. No horn/lights, no securialert. Want to eventually get to having cams at speed (I have 360 but no BC).

Updated the GWM first and success and now have the horn/lights feature show up in the fordpass app.

So I'm just glad something worked, doing the APIM next
