Slow down. Do a network scan. Are you getting DTCs? You need to check this FIRST!

Can you change the values back to what the originals ones were? If you don't have them then try this as last resort.

@JEB sorry, yes I did a network scan and the module came back green with no DTC’s also the IPC update is still present. All modules are green and no dtc’s present on any module now.

Can you run the IPC from scratch now? Erase the flash drive and start again as if you’d never touched the IPC before.

The IPC is a weird animal. I had made FORSCan changes previously and I was still able to update. But if the standard method doesn’t work, you have work to do. You’ll probably need to have @Bob_Mac walk you through restoring the original configuration and then a CAN bus update. But try the original method first.

Please look at what I posted... your FORScan changes could be affecting the update. The last line stays only the first one I posted gets changed. The last 2 of the last block will get recalculated if it's wrong.

It no longer appears in the software tab, the only thing I have is the GSM procedure. The update failed, but it still cleared itself out and I can't get back in.
Did you make ANY changes to the IPC using FORScan?

Not that I remember. Let me look back through my changes.

EDIT:

I didn't think about these being in the IPC, but I guess they are.

Disable driver & passenger seatbelt minderIPC720-01-01xxxxxx0xxx--
Disable Auto Engine Idle Shutdown of 30 minsIPC720-01-01x*xxxxxxxx--subtract 8 from your default value (if default is F, change to 7)

So I suppose I need to go manually fix those two and then try the PMI again?

Let me ask it another way... have you done any FORScan changes?
I have and I edited my response. I didn't think any of my changes would have been IPC related but they were. I'm going to manually update those registers in for scan to match my backups and see if I can PMI.

What I am saying is DO NOT load all from an old back up.. You can make changes but dont load all
Is this practice causing errors or DTC’s? I recall a while back reading someone else saying don’t do “load all” but can’t remember why (maybe it was in the forscan thread). I went back in and undid individual changes before doing all the updates and had no issues other than the crummy laptop and running boards.
