XLT 302a Sport PB - Sound Issue

Hi,

I have an issue where the volume knob on the stereo does not work. It shows the volume graphic on the display with a "0" showing the level and "minimum" text at the bottom. No sound going thru stereo. Took it to dealer and they went thru troubleshooting. During troubleshooting, the problem disappeared. Dealer said that they would open a case with Ford to see if they think module should be replaced. Picked up truck from dealer, drove it 15 miles. Everything ok. Got in truck this morning and the volume stopped working. Tried controls on steering column as well. I pressed the voice control button and asked to play an XM sirius station and it played the current song and now volume is working again.

Seems very intermittent. Going to tell dealer problem still exists. Will keep this post updated as i go thru the process.

I am having same problem. Did you find a solution? I have tried soft reset and master reset but no improvement. Have appointment to at dealer next week. Frustrating.

I took it back to dealer and they went through diag again... Started working again and I have not had a problem since.
