As the title says. I have 2022 XL that the previous owner upgraded to Lariat or higher side mirrors. They are power adjustable mirrors but the turn signals and puddle lights do not work. How do you get puddle and turn signals to work? I am assuming you need a wiring harness or a wire tap. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks!

Is your truck a 100 or 101A XL trim?

Do you have power door locks, power windows, and cruise?

I did this on my XL, you just need to ForScan the features in that you want. Since you already have power/defrost mirrors you won’t need a new harness since the wires are already there. It was very simple, I had never used ForScan until I bought a set of tow mirrors (knockoffs from Amazon). The codes are under the PDM (passenger door module) and DDM (driver door module) in the ForScan spreadsheet on the forums here, I’m typing this on my phone otherwise I’d look up the exact codes for you. But you’re just changing a single digit to either enable/disable puddles lamps, running lights, and turn signals.

My factory non-tow mirrors didn’t have turn signals which I think they may have them if you have BLIS. Either way if you have turn signals/BLIS already, you shouldn’t need to change the code at all. I didn’t have to do any coding for heated mirrors and power adjustment since they were already coded that way with the stock mirrors

No problem, if you’re feeling frisky here’s a link to a post I made where a fellow member helped me with the codes to enable zone lighting so you’ll have the outward facing spotlights. The coding will work even if you don’t have the hard buttons near the headlight switch. It will be on the center screen

Yeah I tried it doing the simple way at first (using the section marked ‘as-built’ in the ForScan menu) and you actually have to change the physical code listed in that block by going to the section that doesn’t say ‘as-built’ next to it. So rather than enable/disable (like you have shown listed in the ‘as-built’ section) you’re changing a 1 or 0 in a line of code. Doesn’t matter what the rest of the code says, it all stays the same, you’ll just be changing a single digit

ok, I was wondering if that was what the issue was. I am presuming I edit the * in the code to a 01 to enable, correct?

Try switching the type from LED to bulb for the turn and puddle lamp. I installed aftermarket lights and even though they were led, they wouldn't work if they were both set to led. Not sure how it affects the factory options, but might be worth a try.

Unsure if any of these DTCs might point to something someone is familiar with that could be the issue?
