Why we cant have nice things

Went out into the city for Dinner tonight and got rear ended. Complete stop at a red-light and get blasted from behind by a crackhead in a jeep. Not even joking about the crackhead part. Bedside destroyed as well as Rear bumper. Hopefully the frames okay. Going to take to body shop on Monday. Trucks the easy part. Wife's back is hurting pretty bad so we wil see how this goes.

Reason I stay out of the city after dark as much as I can. If the guy was under the influence then I assume the cops arrested him.

That was not the case. The guy was out of his car when police came so they didn't see him behind the wheel. The cop said he didn't see him driving so it's basically a no case for DUI. The car was not his but by the grace of God it was registered and insured. I do have a dash cam, so the accident is on video. So, if your impaired while driving in Philly and get in a accident just get out of the car before the cops come so they don't see you driving.

Sorry for your bad luck and hope your wife heals up quickly! If it got into the bed sides, they will have to put it on the frame rack to check it out. It will then show up on Carfax as "frame damage" and you will have diminished value issues. Ask me how I know this...

Thanks Man My wife is feeling better. As for the truck it will get fixed or replaced. Just sucks only has 35000 miles and stays in the garage except for special occasions. Now it's going to have a carfax blemish along with Diminished value. Not to mention trying to match the paint with the ceramic coating the truck has. WTF people suck!
