When does the Nav subscription start

Looking at new trucks and seeing the 3 year sub to naviagtion. I got to wonder just when does that start. Is it activated when it rolls off the final inspection or is it something the dealer turns on.

It will show up in your Ford Pass app and starts at purchase just like warranty.

Not a dumb question. I bought used truck so I have the remaining subscription on mine until next year that started when prior owner purchased truck.

That's an easy $15/mo option IMO. Especially in hurricane areas.

I've only seen that when I go through the trouble to navigate the connectivity screen to find it. It doesn't just come up by itself in my truck. I turned it off day 1 anyway I'm not paying for it and the trial was long gone on used purchase.
