When does the audio system turn off?

Hey all,

When does the audio system in our f-150s turn off and stop outputting signal to the speakers? When adjusting the gain on my Kicker Key 200.4 I could hear some static coming from the speakers as I turn the pots. My truck was off at the time and the display was dark. I have the amp set to turn on via DC offset.

should I be concerned with battery drain from the amp? Thanks.

I believe it's somewhere around 40 seconds after you open and close the drivers door. Battery drain should not be an issue given this timeframe.

No you shouldn't have to worry, Ive heard my truck making clicking sounds, etc under the hood and dash, damn, 15 minutes after I turn off LOL
