When do you receive your order # and confirmation ?

I placed my order three weeks ago for the F-150, XL, RCSB, 4x4. I've reached out to my dealer twice for an order # and confirmation that the order was placed. Still know response. Is this normal for Ford ?

I received an email from Ford confirming my order the day I placed the order.

Well, It sounds like my salesman may have dropped the ball then. They cashed my deposit for the order.
It looks like my order is the same as yours except that I went with Antimatter blue.

Love it. It's exactly what I wanted.

Well, it's the best I could do given the current automotive market. There wasn't a way to get a stick with roll down windows and a rear sliding window with 100 less computers and screens in these trucks

Antimatter was probably my 3rd choice. I had an ongoing debate about black or Atlas for a long time. Almost said screw it and got Antimatter as a middle ground.

I'd get a hold of your dealer and let them know you never got an email. It might not be them dropping the ball. Heck, the ball may not be dropped at all.

May I ask, what are you getting for an average MPG ? I commute 80 miles a day. half of it highway.

Highway? Probably around 22-23. Interstate? 18-19. In town? 16ish.

Me and my dad had this conversation last week. It seems around 55-65 seems to be the sweet spot for the best mileage. I don't know about anyone else, but wind absolutely kills my MPG.

Get the Vin off your dealer, there is a number like O/T 2 or O/T 1 at the bottom it's a 4 digit code beside it for your order number.

I never heard anything from my dealer… Three weeks after I ordered I got an email from Ford giving me a Vin and telling me the build date had been scheduled…
3 1/2 months from order to delivery… Picked it up first of March… YMMV

That's good to know. I'll wait to hear from Ford. At 3 1/2 months I should have mine the middle of June.
I'm already buying parts for it !!

100% agree. Even with my 2.7 EB, a strong Kansas headwind will drop my mpg from 22-23 to 16-17 or even lower sometimes.

Well, at 16-17 mpg average, that would be the same as my Rubicon with a 6-speed standard, 4:11 gears and 35's
The XL will have 35's also. and a ten speed with 3:73's

Should be close !!

I just hung up with my Dealer, I have been beating on them for a loaner truck being the last one was a lemon, my new truck is on rail and the roads are glare ice around here and I just got my 05 Town Car, I sure like having my truck.

I never received anything from my dealer. Confirmation came from Ford in an email. I got the VIN from the chat bot on the Ford site. I then tracked it on the tracker. I knew from the tracker that my truck had arrived before the dealership called me.

What does that order tracking number look like? How many digits, letters, numbers, etc?
