What is this sticker on bumper??

My new truck is in but the dealer is on day two of Post Delivery Inspection and cleanup. He sent a few overall pics and I zoomed up and noticed what looked like scuffing on the bumper. I emailed him and asked and he immediately went out and wiped it off, said it was dirt, and took new pics. Scuffing gone. But coincidentally there is a sticker on the bumper right where the “dirt” was.

It’s from the assembly plant. The three digit code is the build number (for batching) and the four digit code is the sequence number. Both are used to ensure a seamless build process

Just FYI, that sticker was on your bumper in the very first pic you posted the other day, no conspiracy haha. To be honest looks like still a little "dirt" above the the fog light.

I noticed that remaining "dirt" too LOL. I am a bit overly detail oriented, its a flaw of mine. I'm sure it is on the up and up, I will find out in a couple hours!!

Make sure its right before you own it. Get it fixed first if needed. These things can show up with a lot of "rail dust" and in some cases places where paint was missed and its still primer (those are prob a lot fewer though). Take a good close look before you drive away.

I still have sticker residue in that same spot on my 2024. I guess mine had that sticker at one time also.

Well I saw the truck today and he was right. It’s actually just road dirt streaks. It wipes right off. I’m guessing it went thru some rain and streaked during transport. All is well.

They are going to detail it and fix an issue with the telescopic mirrors. They randomly work and randomly don’t. Besides that all is well and I pick it up Friday! It’s a nice truck!

Its just the residue from the factory wraps they use to cover the light assemblies and prevent scuffing or breaking during transport. My 18 had the whole front end wrapped in white plastic as it was the truck at the front of the double decker transport truck

Yeah just a sticker for internal tracking, there's an insane amount of cars that go out of the factory, you should see what they look like coming off the truck!
