Installed a bed cover, and wanting to stash some items in the back. What are some good recommended ways of doing so? Containers, bungie cords, etc?

Husky bed mat, Ebay knock-off bed divider (not the same one as @Jersey devil), and a heavy duty container/tote for all the small stuff. The container and divider can fit in the cab if I need the full bed for something and don't plan in advance.

I just use some Home Depot totes with a Reese adjustable ratchet bar to keep them in place- with a Husky mat in the bed as well.

esearch tailgate extender. When flipped inside, it stops things from shifting forward. When flipped onto tailgate it almost fully covered tailgate, I can put my ATV in this way with 5.5ft. bed

For general use I have a rubber bed mat and then have collapsible crates and bungee cords to keep small items from moving around in the bed. This works particularly well when picking up 1-gal and 5-gal plants at the nursery and getting them home undamaged. I keep 4 of the crates collapsed behind the driver's seat. The crates work very well for keeping bags of groceries from rolling around inside the cab.

For travel use I have a metal strong box with two drawers that is 4' x 6' x 1.2 feet in size. This is also the best possible anti-theft protection for anything of high value. I use it for photo equipment but it would work well for tools and anything else of value.

Builtright panels and a 2"x10" with some aluminum channel bolted to the panels. Will be adding some D-rings to the divider to secure some boxes in the middle for an upcoming trip (i.e., away from any water and to keep from sliding).

The bedrug is pretty good about keeping most things in place. Not shown, but I also cut down an e-track load bar for the front boxlinks, to keep taller items from sliding into the rolled up tonneau.

I use the ford rubber mat under my hardcover. I have one of those 150qt igloo coolers that I will put my groceries in or any other thing that I don't want sliding to the front. The cooler has a rope tied to it so it can be pulled back in case it slides. That tends to happen a lot. I blame it on the 5.0 fun factor.

Had a peragon bed cover 12 years. Worked great. Somewhat missing it since I bought truck used with trifold cover that I'm still figuring out. I like the ratchet bar idea probably lighter than 2x4 I had in old truck.

Yeah? Love the Peragon cover so far. Bed stays dry except for a little water at the tailgate- and only in a down pour. Folds into the bed (and not above blocking the view) and easy to remove if necessary; plus- it now has two bolt releases inside the bed for locking so it can be released from the tailgate and not the front like with the previous model lock at the front of the cover.

Definitely a little pricey- but if it holds up I think it will be worth it.
