Is it normal to spray bed liner inside of the tailgate?

The Dealer you got recourse (usually that is) but it costs more than just going to Linex as they want a piece of the action $$$$$. Then an issue comes up like you and I had and you get thrown under the bus.

To their credit, my linex dealer was going to pay for it... But here's the update:

- Dealer said they cleaned the latch enough to get the light off, but the part needs to be replaced
- Linex said they would pay for it, but they want to look at it first
- Linex looks at it, disagrees with the dealer on what the issue was, even though the dealer "fixed" it
- Linex now saying there's nothing to pay for because there is no light on


maybe they are right, what do i know

It was funny linex explaining that the issue was something else, when i had already seen that issue tested both ways and it was failing even with their "fix" (until the dealer cleaned the part). Also, Linex let it go out the door with the issue existing (and they knew the issue existed), so if it was what they think it was, why not fix it before it leaves the shop.

Just venting now. At least I'm only out time, so far.. But the dealer is telling me my truck has a damaged part, and its brand new truck.

That's what I'm unsure about, should I just accept that it currently works? Dealer is saying the part is damaged and should be replaced, but it seems to function fine for now

I'm inclined to think the dealer is right since they accurately diagnosed and addressed the issue where linex couldn't
