General opinion on the look.. cheesy or cool? I like them and think they add a rugged look to the F150? Thinking of ordering some.. but just looking for overall thoughts? Also, do they help provide any additional protection from car doors opening into your truck?

Yes, exactly my thought - and plan moving forward. I also only received on Keyfob when I purchased used. I have since got a second one from the dealership - laser cut, programed, etc..$400 later.. I have now have 2. Are you ever worried about the missing one that is floating around...

Gotcha - thanks for the info. So, my thinking... is to keep the 2 original fobs always at the house.. and create a mykey fob - that does not have any restrictions/limits. And use this 3rd one as my daily go to. Thinking just in case I would ever lose it.. I would still have the original...

What is the reason not to create a mykey? Is that a known issue/problem?

I tend to think about how this takes away the longevity/life span of the screen.. to turn on/off all the time. Like turning on your tv, off.. all the time, for no reason. Maybe that is my 'old brain' thinking of older technology tho.

Yes, the button inside, over the lights, does lower the tailgate. And the button on the Key Fob lowers it. But the interface from the Sync 4 system - gives me that error.
