I guess I'm one of the few who like the shifter. My hand rests on it quite naturally.
It's not you, it's them ;)
I wouldn't have my truck (or any vehicle) any other way. I actually added Sports package to mine back in 21` to have a console shifter.

I love those wheels.
Thx! I found them on Marketplace listed by Szott Ford in Holly, MI- Brand new never installed 2010-2011 Raptor rims, painted black, never installed. They were sitting at the dealership since 2012. KILLER deal!

I've been using a ratchet strap to minimize tailgate bounce when hauling long items. Works pretty well but a bit of a hassle to rig and the tailgate still bounces a bit due to strap-stretch.

Then I learned about the Tailgate Boss in another forum thread and decided to give it a try with the RACKFRIDAY 15% discount running through 12/1 ...
Next time I'll just buy the Tailgate Boss which is adjustable for any gate.
Prompt shipping, very robust item, much quicker and easier than the ratchet strap, collapses and stashes easily in the under-seat storage bin, with absolutely zero tailgate bounce.

I like it, you might too!

Is the recommendation to just go with one?

If you mean vs using two .... just the one does the job just fine for me with the tailgate fully-open.

They sell a kit of 2, but that's the version that's designed to hold the gate 'partially open' (a situation I never need).

I did my first oil change since buying my used 2023. Sticker on the windshield said change it and the oil life indicator still said ~70% life remaining.

I have only put about 3500 miles in it but wanted to pull the trigger so that I know the schedule.

I change mine religiously every 5K and my monitor always says I have more than 50% life left. I don't trust the monitor lol

Yeah I am going to do the 5k schedule from here on out. I just wasn't sure when it really had it's last oil change since I bought it used.

I'm enjoying the extra HP I'm getting now that we're getting some cold weather in my area. A 3.5EB making 602HP at the crank isn't bad for 93oct, an intercooler, and a tune.
