If you're replacing it anyway, just get an H8. Nobody that I've seen (including me) has had any issues after putting in an H8. And I'm running a snowplow in winter, never use a maintainer, and have a large stereo system, and several accessories tapped into the circuit. ZERO issues. Reset the...
Thx! I found them on Marketplace listed by Szott Ford in Holly, MI- Brand new never installed 2010-2011 Raptor rims, painted black, never installed. They were sitting at the dealership since 2012. KILLER deal!
I've got the ICON twin-beam from HF, it works awesome. Several thorough reviews on YT convinced me, it was as accurate as the PI wrench, and PI used to make the Snap-On before Snap-On bought CDI. I like it because it doesn't have to be zero'd out like the twist-handle mechanical TW's.
And remember- your extended warranty of 6/60k is really the standard 3/36k PLUS 3/24k in additional coverage, so your extended warranty ends AT 6/60k...
They're cool, but honestly, every day that goes by near me, less and less people actually dim their headlights for me, so I'm not interested in investing in a non-glare system for them. As Eazy-E said, "I say, f**k 'em"
It's everywhere for the most part. People have slowly been pushed into thinking that ANY effort they put out- even when being paid- is like answering a personal favor. Like any interaction with a customer is an intrusion on their personal lives. It's like having someone answer "No problem"...
$40k cash down, $335/mo through my credit union. "Normal" truck payments with 10% or so down are OUT of CONTROL. Pretty much all vehicle payments are out of control. Leased a 2025 Escape ST Line Select w/ pano roof- $490/mo lease. Ridiculous.
In a pinch, you CAN get the H6 blanket over the H8 Everstart. I have the H8 blanket and still haven't unhooked my battery to swap they out yet- no issues 10 months later... Will still switch though. Eventually. lol!
I have had and tried just about every phone mount, but I can NOT bring myself to stick or fasten anything to the dash, I just don't like any of them. I had one of the media covers in my XLT, but wanted the sliding cover, so when I installed it, I grabbed this holder/charger off Etsy, 3D printed...
I just don't have the problems many seem to complain about in the 14th gen. I was scared of the 10 speed since I run a snowplow. I had great luck with my 2010 5.4, my 2016 did pretty well, had the usual water pump issues, starter, trans fluid block leaks, oil pan seeping. My 2024 5.0 has had one...
Man, if I could get a Volvo seat in my truck... I'd be set lol!
I think the problem is manufacturers are not only trying to lessen cost, but also use recyclable materials, and improve sitting cycles on seats. All that does is make seats firmer and firmer. I don't really get the want to have...
I'm in northern Michigan as well, and my 24 had no issues last year, and I run a snowplow and travel all over for work. I have been using McKee's Hydro Graphene spray, so maybe that helps? It's gold for paint as well...
Hydro-Graphene
Brother, you just saved my sanity tonight. Worked on my 2024- Swapped from manual fold towing mirrors to power fold regular mirrors with the Boosted harness and the OEM PF switch. Thank you!
All in all, I'm pretty happy with my 24. OF course, I have changed some things that annoyed me, like swapping in the 2022 adjustable vents, real leather seats (Clazzio Nappa covers), swapping in a larger battery and changing my SOC settings, the LED tails, swapping in power fold mirrors this...
I'm assuming that you have fixed it by now, but just for future lookers, fuse 24 is not for the moonroof anymore. It's for the gearshift, which is why it probably didn't work. The 2024 has a different fusebox in the kickpanel than the 2021-2023.
Consensus is to use 39, on the 2024.
Just jumping in, because I'm looking for a better switched fuse for my Kicker Key/Sub. The 2024's have a different fuse box in the cab now, so all of the numbers have changed, and #30 is now for the adaptive driving stuff. I had tapped into the moonroof circuit, but it never seems to shut off...
