Pulled these codes on the DDM. Everything is functioning properly though... Blind Spot Indicator, puddle lamp, Blinkers. Spot is not working and powerfold is not working.

Was able to clear all the codes. Still not functioning. Does anyone know how to test the switch? Can I put a jumper in the wire harness to simulate signal?

I have ran a on demand self-test on both the DDM and PDM. No errors found on either module. My question now is, when running through the test, how much movement (if any) does the fold in / fold out portion of the cycle test make? I cannot see any movement visibly, but I think it may move slightly when I have my hand on the mirror. I also assume that the powerfold is the first movement the mirror performs in the test (after the window moves)? I can see that the extend out / retract works fine (it clearly moves in and out).

So I guess the help needed is to see how much (if any) the powerfold movement is during the test. I assume since it has no errors that it is making signal for the powerfold from the DDM to the mirror? If that is the case, then I assume my switch is the problem? I ran the test without the door mirror switch cluster installed and received the same results (no errors).

Just trying to narrow down the issue without trying to throw more money at it (buy another switch).

As a heads up to anyone doing this mod on a 2024 (and up, I presume), the programming has changed from the 21-23 model years.

Based on the information in livnitup's excellent spreadsheet, the power fold setting is now:

740/741-03-16 xxxx 03xx xxxx (original value: 02)

This is the only setting I needed to get the basic folding functionality (via the button) to work. It will need additional programming to enable the puddle lights/etc, but I haven't dug into that since the folding feature is the only part I really needed to (easily) park the truck in the garage.
Brother, you just saved my sanity tonight. Worked on my 2024- Swapped from manual fold towing mirrors to power fold regular mirrors with the Boosted harness and the OEM PF switch. Thank you!

This thread was extremely helpful when I added power folding mirrors to my 2025 XL. I want to share some details that might help someone out in the future.

Here are the mirrors I purchased on Ebay from a platinum trim level truck:

For programming using Forscan I followed these links:

Puddle and Turn signal:

Power Fold: I used the instructions earlier in this thread.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You also need to go into the APIM to enable autofold. I did this from the simplified menu in forscan to just "enable" folding mirrors. Once you change this setting you will get the option on the screen to enable auto fold when locking/unlocking. With out this you will only have folding via the door switch.

To sum it up you will need to program the DDM, PDM and APIM. Once enabled the DDM and PDM will fold with the switch, for auto fold during lock/unlock the APIM needs to send a signal to the BdyCM to fold when it sees a lock/unlock signal.

Pictures from my install:
- On the driver side I had to add 5 wires which included a ground.
- 3 of the wires (puddle, fold in , fold out) from the mirror went to the gray harness at the DDM. The turn signal wire went to the black plug at the DDM. The added ground I just used one of the bolts that mount the mirror.
-I didnt take pics of the passenger side but I believe I only had at add 3 wires. I do remember the ground was already there.
-I bought the custom switch from Ivan Berrones on Facebook. He is pretty active in the F150 groups and is known for adding all sorts of things to these trucks, mirror, passive entry, push button start, 360 camera, etc. The switch was a bit pricey but I wanted the install to look factory.
-I did not hook up the cameras yet, but plan on adding 360 cameras in the future.
- I was also having issues getting the signal to work on the drivers door. I noticed that the passenger side uses pin 22 as a ground on the mirror harness. I went and added a ground on pin22 on the drivers side mirror harness and everything started working.
