i may be a little biased, but I appreciate the look of the dual exhaust.

yours looks great. nice work. i would not have attempted the install myself. here's a pic in black with the dual exhaust bumber. not exactly the same color as yours, but close and somethong to ponder thats really close. you cannot go wrong either way.

Did you add black tailgate lettering to your truck? I thought about doing this and it looks like yours has it. If so do you have any pictures in the sun? Your truck is looking good.

Added some under seat storage. Less than 70.00 off ebay. It screws together in 3 pieces. I did have to drill holes in the storage box for the mounting bolts to line up. 5 minute fix. I think I'll like it. I may have to get some shelf/tool drawer liner if it rattles too much.

the matte finish does make me wonder considering everything else on the truck is gloss. the gloss finish on yours is a nice touch and blends in much better with the rest of the finishes. again, nicely done

Puzzler: Identify that quote (answer below)

This is a subtle mod. Its presence catches you by off guard similar to the way when you realize that the AMB paint is actually blue masquerading as black.

Application notes:

1. I used the 'G2 High Temperature Brake Caliper Paint System' (multiple colors available) Everything required is included in the kit. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000G28PPE
2. Recommended application temperature range seemed narrow at 55-70F
3. This is an epoxy paint with a working time of 2-4 hours. I suspect this affected by the ambient temperature.
4. A brake-cleaner type spray is included and the calipers remained on the vehicle. Cleaning was easy as it appears that they are now made from an aluminum alloy because there was no rust to deal with.
5. Instructions said to remove all 4 wheels at the same time but this wasn't feasible for me. I pulled one wheel at a time to prep the calipers. Then repeated the process to paint.
6. You're supposed to wait 15 minutes before applying a second coat but with the time taken to remove/install each wheel along the way a single coat was all I could manage.
7. A single coat worked out well. Great coverage. I did not make an effort to paint the entire caliper, only those areas which could possibly be seen with the wheel installed.
8. The time from when I mixed the paint until when I finished the last caliper was 1 hour 45 minutes. That includes the 15 minute post-mix wait time.

Got my bumpers and top wrapped in Black. I’m going to lower it farther. I haven’t decided which route I’m going yet, but hope to have it done by Thanksgiving. Next is replacing the chrome Roush exhaust tips with a Black Powdercoated one and changing the front and rear Ford emblems with either the older style factory emblems if they will fit or Black ones.

Added wheel well liners/factory mud flaps

Nice looking truck. Is that a real dog, or just for HOV lanes I have mud flaps on my 2024. With tires getting so wide, I think they make since. Had the wheel well liners on my previous silver (2019). I thought all the silver in the wheel well looked dumb. Newer truck is darkened bronze metalic (almost black), and looks fine without liners.

Threw in the underbody noise/aero covers Ford deleted for 24/25 trucks to save a penny. The under engine cover was available used in perfect condition for $30. The under transmission piece is china special and a bit flimsy, so I may need to eventually track down an OE version. Brackets were free and I had enough hardware and old clip nuts laying around to install them. These things cut down on a lot more noise reflecting off the road than you’d realize.

New shoes FP sinister bronze 22 wrapped in Nitto 305/45r22. Road force balanced and some forscan to correct the speedometer. Looks like I lost 2 mpg over the stock steelies which is no suprise since the set up is +20 lbs heavier. They do look good on antimatter though.

I finally finished my fog light install from last Christmas! No longer do I have to open the hood to turn on and off the fog lights!
I still need to figure out how to label them. My laser doesn’t have the finesse. Melting for than engraving.

I moved the factory puddle light switch to the right. Then purchased another set of puddle light switches to replace the open tailgate switch. Installed that with a custom harness. The left puddle switch opens the tail gate. The right switch turns on and off the fog lights and the power line to the fog lights gets looped back to turn on the “ON” indicator for that right puddle switch.

in hind-site, ended up being a lot more work than it was really worth. Lol
