So, very few people can afford to put a F150 into the 8-9-10's. I suspect that in addition to the Whipple, you need fuel, cooling, transmission, traction and gears.

A used bone stock Hayabusa for $7500 will run sub-10 sec at 145+ mph in the quarter.

My first superbike was a 75 KZ900. Exhaust and rejetting the carb would put the bike into the high 11's at 130-ish mph on a 2.15" wide rear rim. Looking back, that is scary.
Very few people can afford to put any vehicle in the 8s/9s/10s in general. What's your point?

I love them, but most people aren't willing to put themselves on a crotch rocket to be fast either. Someone could get an XL/XLT instead of say, a Limited and use that difference in performance or get a previous gen truck and have even more money for mods.

Just found this on U tube.

Claim ford customers only can oder a 2024 F150, regular cab sleeper XL. They say it is 750 hp, 680 ft lbs torque for under $48,000. A 4x4 is $4,000 more. They claim dealers can not order. Only clients. They say they are also covered by factory warranty.

I know custom tunes aren't available for the 2024 yet.
What mods will give you the biggest gains without a tune?

Unfortunately besides a pedal commander intake and exhaust this is all you're going to get for now. Unless you swap PCMs we all will just have to wait till they finally release a tuner. My biggest issue is the governor I do a lot of interstate driving and I hit that thing anytime I'm playing around with someone unfortunately I'll beat him to 99 Mile an hour then that's it lol

Also until you can program the PCM it's really not a good idea to get away from naturally aspirated cuz there's a lot of things that should be changed mainly with the transmission shift points.

Agree with this.
If you're not looking to add a supercharger but want to feel more performance, put on a catback and install a pedal commander or pedal monster. Those two mods will satisfy you for now, until a tune is available OR you go Supercharged.

No whipple supercharger and roughly $2,000 of mods doing the work himself. In my view a true modern hot rod.

What was done to this truck besides e85 tune and a little weight loss?

That's not much. Intake, intake manifold, tune and muffler. Wow.

Keeping it light with some wheels too. Must sport trucks run 22s for some reason.

Wow is what I thought too considering the basic mods with the exception of that intake manifold swap. He proves too that the stock exhaust manifolds flow very well and therefore are not holding things back as he still has them.

Larger wheels add weight and increase polar moment of inertia which hurts acceleration and fuel economy and it also gives you a harsher ride but does improved corning feel. The aluminum body on these trucks coupled with some powerful and great motors has proven to be great for both fuel economy and acceleration with the benefit of corrosion resistance too.
