I know custom tunes aren't available for the 2024 yet.
What mods will give you the biggest gains without a tune?

Tear out that 5.0 and drop in a 3.5, massive Hp and Torque gains!
Pfffft...more like keep the 5.0, drop in a Whipple, and get more hp/tq gains than the 3.5 ever will.

just make it sound the way you want with a muffler swap then make it look and drive they way you want.
not much point in dropping money on go fast stuff if you aren't going to tune it to make it go fast. Cams require a tune, headers dont require (i dont think) a tune but you are still voiding any warranty as soon as you take off the factory manifolds. Any intake work you do that doesnt require a tune, isnt worth it in the long.
If i were you, i would wait until someone offers tuning support then go from there. Less chance of wasting money.

love the truck btw.

Sounds about like what I keep telling one of my inner selves ???
I just don't listen to the right advice much lol. I'm just impatient lol.

Thanks for the compliment.

What is the obsession with making these bricks go faster? Some kid in a Honda with 1/2 the hp/tq and half the weight will leave you in the dust. at a stoplight.

my advice is to forget the whipple and put 5k in a good mutual fund.

If you insist on going fast, buy a used Busa. Nothing you are likely to run into on the road will smoke a Busa.

Horsepower determines how fast you hit the wall, torque determines how far you take the wall with you!
As much as I like the analogy it’s a pretty inaccurate one actually, an engine will pull more weight at its peak horsepower than at its peak torque. Torque is easily manipulated by gearing as well…

Horsepower is how much work an engine produces in a given time unit. If you want to move a 10,000 Lb trailer over a mountain fastest, you are better off running an engine where it makes 400 HP/370 LB FT than where it makes 250 HP/500 LB FT. Engineering Explained has some pretty good videos on HP vs Torque. Horsepower is a better measure of an engines overall abilities, hence why heavy equipment and boats all measure and rent by horsepower, not torque.

I'm running my '24 RCSB with some 20's and (I'm assuming) the same MBRP. I'd suggest cruising around with the best sounding truck in town, and waiting a while before going head first down the HP rabbit hole.
I will, however, be waiting to see what shows up in the tuner game.

Obsession of goin fast doesn't change whether a car or a truck. When these trucks can run 9's and still daily drive...why not.
If the Honda can run 10's in the quarter, and he has a whipple and 4x4, game on!
