Upgrading 2022 F-150 STX halogen headlights to LED head lights?

My 2022 Ford F-150 STX has Factory OEM Halogen Headlights. I would like to upgrade them to LED. Is it as simple as just swapping out the Assemblies? Are the mounting tabs in the same location? Are the electrical plugs the same?

If you go to OEM bi led or full projector, you need harnesses and Forscan.

Hi you could just put in led bulbs most of these will be plug in play.
l wanted led but didn’t want to buy a expensive harness to upgrade to the oem leds . So I went with these AlphaRex which come with halogen but put LEDs in them . I like the fact that I can change the bulbs my self vs the high end ones if led goes out yo need a whole new housing. For the money these are hard to beat. They have halos and Cornering lights when you use the blinkers. $ 557. At Realtruck right now. Fit and finish is really close to oem . Packaged really well . Easy with YouTube install videos.

Both of these responses are correct. If you’re going aftermarket, you can get direct plug and play. If you’re going factory LED, there’s a bit of wiring and programming involved

I've had the Alpharex, and now have Morimotos. Like them so much more, great looks and output.

I have a harness for sale - XL trim and thought I wanted factory LED upgrade, but at the end of the day have decided to just embrace the work truck look. Made by “Ryan” and just needs forescan updates for full functionality

I have these alpha Rex pro headlights installed in my 2023 STX ford F-150 I’m have an issue with my day time running lights, the center high beams are coming on instead of the halo , night time driving they work correctly, any idea on day time issues I’m having?…
