Very curious to see where this mounts, and how it all wires up.

guessing you drop the headliner, and I assume it follows other wires through the firewall.

Does this pull enough power that one should consider an uprated alternator?

My understanding of the way the factory up-fitter switches work, the switches are basically a trigger. You will want to put relays for turning on and off devices. For example, if you are using a switch for additional lights; you will have the switch trigger a relay which provides power to the lights. This way the relay gets power from the battery and is told to activate/deactivate via the up-fitter switch.

If I’m mistaken or not explaining it well, someone correct me.

The black box picture is the relay box for the switches. So they are already setup with relays.

@SumGuy I’d say you’d only need an upgraded alternator if you plan on constantly running higher draw add ons. I could be wrong though.

Awesome, thank you. For some reason I thought they were fuses. I will have mine tomorrow if UPS is correct.

It’s the superduty Relay box. From my understanding the F150s relay is a whole harness and a bit more complicated so the F150 retrofit use the superduty version to make it less complicated.

Based on my own experience the odds you get a response from your email is 50% or less. I usually have to email several times to get a response.

Good to know......imagine if i needed to cancel the order because something came up.

I even checked my spam folder in case a response went their....my next resort will go through Instagram....i am not in a hurry to get this part (i waited almost 2 years for another part from some else- only to be cancelled) but after someone posts something publicly on Social Media (even though it was hidden on a post about Paddle Shifters) that the part will be shipped by end of this week but people still havent heard anything just irks me

I am pretty confident that you will get what you ordered. I just received mine - No instructions of course. I just think he does a very poor job of running his business - Not replying to emails, saying things will ship when they don't, etc.
