Upfitter Switch installation

I’m doubting the wires will be there and just needs the switches installed. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be done. A gentleman on Facebook just installed his today and I saw his post. Here is the part he installed with the sunroof and power rear slider console.

I almost bought this Great 4 or 6 switch panel for the overhead console from KustomFX LLC, but only needed one switch. So I ran a 6-conductor, 18-gauge cable just in case I wanted to expand some day. I also drilled my large 22-mm illuminated pushbutton switch where I could cut out further in the future if I ever decided to install this professional panel from KustomFX.

I will do this mod eventually, but I want as close to factory as possible. I will begrudgingly pay for the factory parts too, assuming all of them can be purchased.

Here in one image see the 3 diagrams relating to upfitter switches from the 2022 F150 service manual. For detail on the connectors, locations, pin assignments, harness routing, etc you'll have to 'begrudgingly' pay the $22 for a subscription to the service manual at www.motorcraftservice.com

It’s pricey but I unfortunately don’t understand enough how it all works to even attempt to try myself. I’m curious as to which relay he’s using. I’ve been told the F150 one is part of a larger harness but the super duty one is standalone.

I agree it is pricey, but always worth it tbh! Lawrence (he owns that site and deal with him personally), he always makes sure the harness is plug and play with little pain as possible, just like his LED tails harness and folding mirror harness (adding after the fact for XLTs). If you'd like, I would contact him through the site "Contact Me" and see if he give you more details about it or message him through Facebook. I did place an order for these, need that so bad compared to putting holes for rocker buttons switches on the dash/trim pieces lol; want the cleaner oem look!

Do you know which console you need? I got fairly acclimated with the consoles and it’s crazy how many variations there are.
